Just so there's no confusion - I don't think there was any joke theft between the two of us. I didn't read that other thread, and I don't think there was anything weird going on from your end. Kafir and I have an ongoing conversation about Islam that's spanning years now and that secret Muslim and me are e buddies. So I piped up when he got mentioned.

The sparring session between you and Jack is something to watch though, so please don't let this post interfere.

It's very clear what happened. DS thought that Ehtheist made the comment that you made, and rather than correct the record, he ran with it by repeating your joke. Like I said, it's not particularly surprising. Almost comforting to see the consistency of Ehtheist failing mini character tests.

Now that I think about it @Cuauhtemoc is a pretty good right wing poster. I wonder what happened to him, don't really see him posting much anymore.

I know he came back at least once, but got banned again (I think just for being a previous ban). They used to ban a lot easier (I think getting on fogie's bad side cost a lot of good posters their accounts).

I don't really consider ehtheist to be on my level. He's OK (and certainly capable of more), but he's mostly just a troll who is a step up from the total mouthbreathers (I don't want to make WWF or DS cry so I won't mention any examples this time).

It's not a good match up tho. Let's be honest, we've seen Ehtheist intellectually smack Jack around far too many times.

We've also seen Egarrett, greoric, and dontsnitch take their turns ravaging poor Jack to the point where all he can do is run away. He then starts dropping their names unprovoked in randon threads in a pathetic attempt to troll them. When that doesn't work and he gets tired of being exposed as a fool he then retreats to his safe space i.e. puts them on his ignore list.

This is his shtick. It's not a well thought out troll because it's inconsistent with his other shtick where he pretends to care about character and substance, but spends a considerable amount of time demeaning other posters, often out of the blue.

You know what I do with posters I consider to be a waste of my time, of which there are plenty of? I don't respond to their posts, and I certainly don't take the time to demean them in conversations they're not even involved in, but that's because I don't enjoy trolling, but to each their own.

I think he's bright, the majority of regs are, but he likes to troll. It's not that bad in the greater scheme, it simply is what it is. I like to discuss philosophy of religion and to keep things honest and civil. Others like to say things to people they don't get to in real life. JVS likes to talk politics and troll people.

I think it's good to remind ourselves that most of us are here day and night, on a forum, pretending like we have somewhere more important to be, and pretending that we're better than we are.

I don't know about you, but I have actual real life problems that put internet posting in perspective.
