Worst All Around Poster should be a special category this year, including all the Trumpposters. Oh, I'm a salty liberal? Check The Dump, that is all the evidence I need and no one can prove me wrong.

The War Room Awards for 2016 are officially underway!
Who deserves recognition for their outstanding, debate driving posts? Who deserves scorn and ridicule for their relentless idiocy? Who is functionally retarded but always brings the lols?
You decide!

The categories are:

  • Best All Around Poster: Someone that just genuinely brings non-troll value to the war room. Makes intelligent posts, less prone to vitriolic diatribes.
  • Worst All Around Poster: Someone that needs to run full speed into the ocean and never return. Trolling is unfunny and probably should be given the boot as they are not even fun to mock.
  • Best Shit Poster: Not to be confused with Worst All Around Poster. Shitposting is an art form that not all can ever hope to achieve success at. Makes terrible posts but brings humor (intentionally or not) that we can enjoy.
  • Best Threads: Has a strong history of making threads on issues that are topical and people actually care about. Diversity of topics and relevant links provided regularly.
  • Worst Threads: Regardless of posting quality, this person just cannot seem to generate threads that anyone cares about one way or the other.
  • Best Liberal Shill and Best Conservative Hack: Posters that truly go the distance to defend at all cost anything that falls on their side of the spectrum. Sets the bar for rejecting reality or stubbornly refusing to concede a lost cause. Really puts in work.
  • Best Unassuming Moderate: Carefully toes the line between the political spectrum more closely than anyone else. May be extremely hard to pin down on any position. Something of a rarity.
  • Most Racist: Whether they know it or not, this person takes the cake for their deep seeded racial prejudice. May be in denial, may be openly proud. All shades of racism included.
  • Best Election Coverage: Award for person that specifically provided the best threads/content related to the 2016 United States Presidential election. Pluses included coverage having been over an array of content, diligent work ethic.

Poster of the Year - @sodapopinski - dude did actual work in those wikileaks threads, but not only that he handled just about every significant breaking/ live stream story of the year. Honorable mention to @Arkain2K for being GOAT TS (and thats saying something with @JDragon and @Lead Salad in the house. Also @Hans Gruber for spamming threads at at time when the WR was pretty complacent, he really kept this place interesting this year. He also did work in the wikileaks threads.

Best New Poster - @ehtheist -- technically she joined in '15, but her impact was felt in '16.

Feud of the Year - Clinton Supporters vs. Clinton Deniers (Trumpers, Bernie Bros, People who weren't born in 2016, etc).

Worst Poster -- not worth mentioning; there are a few really bad ones this year. The last 18 months I think I've seen the worst posters of all time come through the WR.

Worst Mod --- This isn't even a real category anymore, imo. Sherdog's cup doth runneth over with quality mods. Be thankful I'm not a mod.

Most Informed - @Zankou - The bar by which we're all measured by. You guys give @Ruprecht a lot of heat, but agree with him or not, the dude is uber informed; deserves more respect from you heathens, imo.

Least Informed - Anybody who supported Clinton in the general who didn't vote for Bernie in the primaries.

CometPingPong PizzaGate Champion: @Hans Gruber. Didn't see IDL relinquishing the CT title when the year began, but your Pizzagate run was remarkable. (I love CTs btw, so this is not an insult award coming from me). You also need to get an award, because you were certainly one of the best WR posters of the year. Honorable mention to my ninja @MusterX who posts some of the most interesting stuff I've ever read.

Keeping It Real Award: @Cubo de Sangre

Anarchy Award: @VivaRevolution (T) @ultramanhyata (T)

Biggest Flip Award: @SouthoftheAndes (Bernie Sanders). Runner up: @HillaryRodhamClinton (Everything else)

Religious Right Award: @colby25; another big upset. Thought this was a lock for @ripskater.

I've got to know a lot of the conservative posters better this year. Our common enemy, the Clinton Supporters brought us together. I have a new found respect for you cats.

Also props to @theBLADE1 one for a great year.

I think 2017 could be a solid year of quality shit posting for all of us.

Hans Gruber, IDL, M3t4trOn, Fawlty, ripskater, sodapopinski are all quality. Probably others I can't remember.

Ripskater is probably the most genuinely polite. There's that other guy too, but he signs his posts. I don't trust that guy...

Makes zero sense. I'm not salty, I just think Trumpposters are the worst posters and The Dump is evidence of that. Salty would imply I'm mad at you guys because of the election result, I just don't like the threads or posts and felt this way when I thought Hillary would win. Of course you never thought your post through, you just needed the zinger to get some Likes.
