Probably a bigger deal for others than for me. I've done harder things and had high paying jobs in the past.

I'm guessing this school was south of the border and your "degree" is printed on a Sabor de Soledad wrapper
Medical school was not difficult at all. And very inefficient. I could have finished the entire process in probably less than 2 years, if I had been allowed.
Basically, the first 2 years I worked and watched TV for a month, crammed a weekend, took some tests, then rinse and repeated. Toward the end, studied for a big test for a few weeks, destroyed it, and then onto clinicals. Basically just a huge 2 year vacation. Third year was following some doctor around doing scut work. Fourth year was the most useless of all. Mostly a vacation with a couple months of work and residency interviews.
US based school ranked in the top 15 or 20 by US News when I was there, not that this means a damn thing.
So a top 20 med school is so easy that you can cram on weekends, not attend class, read through PowerPoints, and destroy the exams. I guess it doesn't take much to maintain a top 15-20 ranking by the most recognized ranking system in the US.
Some people studied a lot more and still failed out. I guess it just goes to further confirm the notion that not everyone who gets into medical is super smart. In honesty, I typically crammed about 4 days per month. It wasn't enough to be the best in the class, but enough to be above average. The thing that matters most is USMLE scores. You typically take the first exam (by far the single most important piece to your residency application) at the end of your 2nd year. So I studied enough to do well on this when the time came. For the rest of the time, I was content just being above average and enjoying all the free time I had.
Why do you keep asking so many personal questions? So @Lubaolong are you claiming to be done with residency?
Luba has it on permanent life support with his ill conceived and poorly executed attempt at convincing strangers on the internet he's a doctorThis thread will never die.

I do not want to share where I live, where I work, what specialty I went into, where I graduated med school.

God damn, this post put a smile on my faceDockter imo.
There's no convincing of anything. I said I am because I am. You can either judge me by the content of posts and accept this, or you can bury your head in the sand.Luba has it on permanent life support with his ill conceived and poorly executed attempt at convincing strangers on the internet he's a doctor
