War Machine case

Yes.

Also, he got offered multiple plea deals despite Mack's input. They were longer (starting at 16) but not absurdly so.

That just says you have bad judgment. No offense. @alanb is a civil trial attorney. Dunno if Darkballs currently practices criminal law, but he did for a while.

It was joke silly

just seen a 2012 interview with him claiming hes been on and off anxiety and depression meds for years.

no excuse but another point against psych drugs imo

Point against the high rate of misdiagnosis of anxiety and depression.

I am just mad my friend is going to spend the rest of his life in jail. As to me he was always a good training partner and a kind friend. Maybe if it was someone I did not know I'd evaluate this differently and maybe this is just an instance of people in this country getting long sentences in general which is an issue all to itself but the guy I know should have some meaningful chance of seeing freedom again.

Alanb is a trial attorney who openly praises McCarthyism and says that War Machine is actually the victim of feminism because he was a "cuckold"? That is like me claiming to be an astronaut and then praising the flat earth theory.

Insert skeptical gif here.

I specialize in vaccines and am a certified doctor. by the way, vaccines cause autism and are actually poison.

What’s up on his appeal?

Bad decision going to trial

Should have taken the 18-40 year plea.

His lawyer was terrible and the stacked charges meant they only needed a few to stick for him to go away for a long time. Add to the fact that Nevada has mandatory sentencing it was a ridiculous gamble.

No ones gonna feel sorry for a guy named war machine who has priors at trial and the fact that he intended to plead guilty to 7-8 charges anyway was putting several nails in the coffin from the start.

Still can’t believe they convicted him of rapes that took place a year prior in a different state no less before the incident but in reality nothing should surprise anyone regarding the legal system these days .

He already tried to neck himself and failed. Won't be long till he gives it another crack.

Jesus. Didn't even know about that one. Honestly thought he as fairly fucked in the head within a few seconds of hearing him speak. Had no clue of the extent.

A quote for Fear and Loathing comes to mind.

"There he goes. One of god's own prototypes. A high powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production."

He wrote a suicide note and everything. I don't think he outlives prison.

Don’t forget that he shat in the top of a toilet, the fucking savage!

Actually, the point is more so - he wasn't being prescribed the correct drugs.

Fucking lexapro.

With his history and shit - he should have been on a cocktail of seroquel, remeron, and probably pregabalin/gabapentin.
Edit: I wouldn't even be shy about throwing an additional serotonergic or effexor, in a top of that.

He was undertreated.

We're pointing the finger at the frustrated prosecutor, judge, incompetent defence, messed up system etc.

I concurrently point the finger at - psychiatry - them pious, know-it-all, assholes.

I would stake my bankroll - if he was medicated properly - all this, could have been avoided.

He never showed flashes of anger or unpredictable rage to you ever?

going through life and seeing the past is often strange
