I’m going to defend your boy here for a second.
Being a single father to a little girl has to be so hard, I can’t even imagine it. When you have two little girls like I do you inevitably think about shit like what you would do if your wife isn’t around anymore. I’m guessing he has ni family and no friends nearby, except this big, mean ass bouncer roommate with a closet full of guns, and a never ending supply of you tube videos.

The entire well being of this little girl who doesnt know anything except her daddy is her whole world falls on him, and she shows it the only way her little mind know how, by being kind of a brat. Not something I’d wish on anyone, bruh. She’ll eventually be fine, at 3 years old hardly a thing matters other than she’s loved by daddy. Believe that.

His gf, aka his now deceased wife's sister, basically lives with us so he's not raising her on his own.

Like, I get it's not easy... but you gotta do SOME disciplining. She's supposed to start pre-school soon bruh and she doesn't understand how to share with people.

My nephew is just about there, and from what I see is he knows enough language to say what he wants and understand us I'm getting it or no I'm not. Doesn't know enough to understand negotiation. Like you'll get this one this happens, or you do this, so there's just I get it cause I said the words or I mad.

So there's this half communication half/ still half language barrier that is tough on both sides.
 
raising a kid alone is tough.
I brought my son up myself from about 5yrs on.
we had a great time, are very close still
and he's turned out to be an excellent person.

But wtf, his dead wife’s sister is his girlfriend? Jfc. Sounds like a crazy situation. Why don’t you find a nice Mormon dude to settle down with and move on?

Dude is a personal friend and was the only one I had out here that was able to let me crash at his place.

Yeah, I thought the dating the sister of his dead wife was weird too.

She aspirated vomit during childbirth and died after like 2 weeks in ICU.

Ah, makes sense. Kidding aside, you’ll figure it out. Meanwhile my advice is to try to be the cool adult who tells it like it is but also can have fun with her so she doesn’t fuck with you, lol. She’s looking for adults to look up to, I promise. And then preschool will probably change everything.

Yes. When his wife told the nurse she felt sick she was told to lean back.

Was bad. First time I came out here was after his wife passed for her memorial service. Sucked.

You made a really good point about the existence of unconditional love from him being the most important thing. But going off of what Greg says, do you think it's possible she's wanting boundaries and a father who is a bit more consistent and not easily manipulated? Not that she would be able to express or really understand that idea right now.
