Odds the guy who approached me at this dive bar that wouldn't take his left hand out of his sweatshirt pocket that had something noticeably bigger than a cell phone in it, had a gun?

Chatted for a bit, he's in town for funeral, his cousin was just shot by cops (for shooting at said cops, after I read the story when he gave the area his cousin got shot in), said he needed some gas money to get home to Detroit so me and buddy gave him 20 mostly just to go away cause both had alarm bells going off.

I'd say I for sure just got low key stuck up, but then he offered to give us weed (we declined).

Only half joking too, those feminist movements really seem fucking insane. Imagine being okay with society marching towards demographic collapse because you don't want to wear make up. Asian patriarchy is to blame as well, pretty retarded to expect women to both work, be homemakers, and then discriminate against mothers in the workplace. South Korea and Japan have such interesting and beautiful cultures in so many ways but the synthesis with modern capitalism that both experienced that initially brought them unprecedented success has run it course and has now gone haywire.

I don't know enough about those east Asian cultures to know whether women there have a legitimate grievance. There are countries where women have legitimate grievances. I don't it is Japan or South Korea based on the fact these women have the option of doing what they are doing. That said there are literally no men these women are compatible with? And more to the point are these women okay with being the last people because having a movement where people do not reproduce is not sustainable. Finally I hoe the younger ones understand that however bad they may think S Korea is it is much better than what would happen if North Korea takes over due to a man power shortage in the South Korean military.

Well I just outlined some of their grievances, namely that they are discriminated against in the workplace when they are mothers. In Japan they have a movement against the restrictive dress codes in offices which often require them to wear heels and make up. Just a lot of stuff like that.

Just because they have the option to do what they want doesn't mean society doesn't then treat them differently based on those choices. To a certain extent that's to be expected but I think in Japan and South Korea women are far too scrutinized for their choices and pulled in different directions; the culture towards marriage and motherhood but then the economic structure deincentivizes those things. No wonder then they'd say "fuck it"

If women aren't marrying its not helpful to just blame them and tell them to act against their own interests and against the incentives of society to change that.
