Yeah, about a third of the episode was devoted to yoda-species life cycle. Apparently they reproduce a bit like starfish, so you have to really destroy them to keep them down. I thought the giant compactor was a bit excessive, if a nice inversion of that scene in A New Hope.

For me it's one each of hiking boots, flip-flops, tennis shoes, dress shoes, gym shoes. One pair of slippers too but those don't count.

My wifes has a ton of shoes. But me? It's the ties. I probably have about 3 dozen ties and I haven't worn half of them. There was a period of time where I just went crazy buying ties.

how much do you guys budget for Christmas gifts for Friends/kids/family/spouses/co-workers?


This year, I'm pushing $900.00

This year, nothing really. My wife and I just had a 5 year anniversary a couple of days ago, so that pretty much took care of our gifting each other in December. We're just happy we get some days off to spend together.

Never been big on giving friends gifts, or getting gifts from them. One year I bought everyone I knew squatty-potties though. If there's something worth getting someone, then I'll just get it for them at the time and give it to them. The forced part of gift giving around Christmas is weird to me. My dad didn't like it either. He hates getting gifts.
