Aren’t you the only person to have brought up a “legal regime?” Why wouldn’t cultural chauvinism be a legitimate gripe even it wasn’t codified by law?
You know I said the exact opposite right?
Yeah I have heard of that, mentioned it in an earlier post. But that's a private dress code in a private office, not a difference in rights. I am not dismissing the grievance, just because it emerges from the private sector does not mean its not legitimate. But what right is being deprived here? The right to not wear heels and make up?
Saying that Japan does not have equal rights seems to me to imply that there is a difference in the rights afforded to men and women in the legal regime which is why I specified it that way. At least that's how I see it.

5'9.3" is average?

American males are on average manlets.

I will say that, just as a matter of argument, I do think Hockey's standard deviation argument is very persuasive. If we're to categorize manlets as a distinct class of especially short people, I think requiring they be more than one deviation from the norm is a pretty good rule.

It just seems so weird to me. Probably cause I was like 5'10" when I was in 4th grade.

Also, the starvation wage thread is a troll thread. Post numbers about why living in Seattle is so expensive as an example of why people even working ok jobs are living paycheck to paycheck and I get the response of:
"They don't have to live there then"

But what's the actual SD?

@Fawlty is the area near like 125 S 300 E decent in DT SLC? It's like a block south of South Temple and 2-3 blocks east of Temple Square.

I would assume it is given that's where the big time downtown department stores and shit like Williams and Sonoma is as an example.

You Americans are awfully selfish for a self-declared Christian nation btw. Seems like it's only Christian when it's about being puritan and judgemental and keeping people down. A lot of finger wagging but not a lot of doing good.

Exactly

Since it's smack in downtown I think that would all depend on the actual building (and I'm not familiar with the apartments right there). If it's clean and well-maintained and there aren't rathole apartments right there, should be fine.

Google reviews show that it once had a bad reputation. Could be on the upswing?

I'm admittedly selfish cause my folks and I went out of our way a lot to help people when I was younger (think between 8-12) and we got burned several times by people. So I'm very much of the "after me and my family you will come first" mentality.

Is this about your penis?

Do you guys look at the penis of other people when you're showering after sport? Just a quick glance to see what's the dealio?

I think it got renovated in the last like 3-4 years. It's a 1920 building with modern plumbing, electrical and appliances. Like 554 sq ft studio for right at like 1030 a month. Pricey but the water/sewar/garbage is only $50, $65 for internet, $30 for maintenance of common areas and an $8 utility billing fee for just under $1200 a month.

And it's like 2 blocks from where I work. That's the big like "oooo" part for me.

I meant like you look down on poor people so much, that's very unchristian imo. Not you personally, I'm "selfish" in that regard too. I'm also a cheapskate.

Well, I'm not Christian ssssoooo......

There ARE poor people out there that I WILL look down on. Like personal friends talking about how hard it is to make ends meet for food... 2 days after posting pictures of a new purse and shoes...

If you can swing it and they're really fixing the place up (it seems like they are) and you can get one of the units that is totally upgraded or in the process of it, then it sounds fuckin' groovy. I think you make enough from what you've said.
