Im kinda surprised Wanda's original "teenish" goth look never got that much popular, not because I particularly like it but just seems like the kind of thing people will be in to (ie Raven from teen titans)

Does spectral vision have lasers in the comics?

The laser beam fight caught me off guard. I assumed it was the mind stone that allows vision to shoot his laser. How does white vision have one?

It must be an inbuilt weapon's system. Which makes sense, as he was partly designed by Ultron.

I enjoyed it, I think it's focus was on grief and love and that was portrayed so well by Olsen and Bettany.

I think some of the angry/disappointed people I've seen online today were more concerned of what was happening outside this story than what was happening inside the story.

They casted Peter Evans to troll us. Fuck this show.

The Hex is gone. Wanda simply mind-controlled Agatha into staying permanently in the role she had chosen; "the nosy neighbour".

This

Agatha will now live in normal Westview in the real MCU world but as her character from the Hex. I have no doubt that this won't be permanent though and that she will come back as her true self at some point. In fact i think that either Wanda (most likely) or Strange will probably uncurse her to get her help or some informations. My theory is that Wanda will screw up badly with the Darkhold and will require Strange and Agatha assistance to fix it . Agatha did warn her that she had no idea what she had unleashed. This could refer to the "Scarlet Witch" persona or the Darkhold we don't know for sure yet but i think she is about to fuck things up trying to play with something she doesn't understand (she is very powerful but still a noob in witchcraft and magic stuff) , maybe to try to being her kids back. Hell i wouldn't surprised if they decided to go the dual persona route with Scarlet Witch being bad and Wanda being good kind of Anakin/Vader. That's what the 2nd post credit ending scene could imply but i could be completely far off the mark, Wouldn't be the first time lol

It's possible. I was thinking also that Jen might defend Blonsky with the argument that it's the army's fault for her client becoming crazy and killing a bunch of people.

That always amused me about Civil War; Ross makes the speech about the Avengers mislaying the equivalent of nukes - Thor and Banner. Considering he created the Abomination and was thus responsible for the deaths of American soldiers under his command, Ross was damned lucky to avoid a court martial himself.

The finale was aight. A big mixed bag for me, there are some things I like, some I didn't.

My biggest gripe, the Darkhold. It feels like it's not the same one from AoS. And if that's the case, if they straight up dismissed and retconned everything about the Darkhold that happened in S4 of AoS, then that's some major bullshit. S4 of AoS was freaking amazing, and the Darkhold was done so damn well in that season's plotline. It definitely conveyed crazy dark power that shouldn't be played with, ending with Ghostrider basically taking the book back to Hell where it belonged.

Then Agatha basically whips it out like a recipe book saying "lookey here, it says so and so right here in my Darkhold". That's some straight up hogwash. She has the insane other worldly book with all the answers right in her hands the whole time, and yet all she ever did was ask questions.

Whatever, 6/10 for the whole show. Won't ever watch again. Meanwhile I'm currently watching AoS for the 4th time during dinner time.

Oh, and Wanda was totally the biggest baddie of them all on this show. Sure that sword dude stole Vision's dead body. And yeah Agatha wanted Wanda's power to do bad things. But Wanda kidnapped an entire town, through her own will and volition, and refused to let them go. Then when she did, she barely apologized for it, and just when it looked like she was gonna turn herself in to face the consequences of her actions, she peaced out with the darkhold. If I was one of the people in that town, I'd be seriously hating the Avengers right about now.

Well I guess we know what a lot of women will dress up as this halloween

Can't wait to see the posts on instagram

Maybe. I'm sure there will be an enhanced version that shows off cleavage. Every Halloween I go to the store and the female section is non stop sexy this.....slutty that.

@Anung Un Rama said it, "why would Agatha let Scarlett Olsen out of her basement with the special runes?" I think Wanda is still there. This is all in her head.

No way she can just brain-injury Agatha into being someone else forever either

Or she's still making a hex it's just gotten so big it's the whole world now. AND WERE IN IT

Meh whole series felt like fluff to build Wanda’s story up. Where is Phase 4 heading? I really hope we aren’t getting just standalone stories from here on out.

From the look of it there are going to be 2 main arcs in phase 4 :

- The Wanda/Strange/Spider Man/Multiverse and more mystical/supernatural arc
- The Thor/GOG/Capt Marvel/Skrulls/Secret Invasion arc and more cosmic/space arc

Then there is also Falcon and Soldier , Loki , Shang Chi, Moon Knight , Black Panther 2 etc etc. Some of those will probably crossover with one of the two main arcs while some others will probably be only side stories. We,ll have to wait and see i guess but right now the whole pictur kind of look like this (i certainly may be wrong though(

Dragonlord’s Review WANDAVISION (Spoilers)

Bottom Line: Wandavision is a fun, mystery-filled drama with lots of zany turns and boasts an exceptional performances by Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany

(Warning: This review will contain major spoilers. Please skip this if you have not watched the series yet)

Marvel Studios has dominated the theaters and is now poised to conquer the television side as well. With an impressive production values, Wandavision is the first of many Marvel Studios live-action television series. Each episode features the main characters in TV sitcom from various decades, paying homage to classics like I Love Lucy and Bewitched to modern hits like Malcolm in the Middle, The Office and Modern Family. Its unique premise kept viewers entertained and guessing the mysteries behind the set-up each week.

If you don’t like the first few episodes, I recommend that you reach episode 4 first before deciding to drop the series altogether because episode 4 will explain the events leading up to the weird sitcom situation.

Elizabeth Olsen was far from my choice for the Scarlet Witch role but after seeing her journey through the MCU and her outstanding dramatic performance in Wandavision, she owns the character and I am now having a hard time envisioning another actress in the role. Her chemistry with Paul Bettany, who also gave a terrific performance as well as showcasing his comedic abilities, is just amazing and effortlessly carries the show on their backs.

The supporting players were mostly positive. Kathryn Hahn was enjoyable as the nosy neighbor Agnes and then the big bad witch Agatha Harkness. Randall Park was endearing who reprises his role of Agent Jimmy Woo. Kat Dennings was absolutely adorable as now-astrophysicist Darcy Lewis and her acerbic style of humor was most welcomed.

Teyonah Parris as the grown up Monica Rambeau was pretty good for the first half of the series but found her a bit dislikable during the second half. Her final look was just terrible with her hairstyle (making her face look fat) and her silly Star Trek-like uniform was unflattering. S.W.O.R.D. director Hayward (Josh Stamberg) was building up to be a good antagonist but just fell short and ultimately became a one-dimensional villain. He just needed a few scenes to show his rationality for his actions.

The show had a lot of Easter eggs and water cooler moments but none bigger than the meta casting of Evan Peters as fake Pietro. Nothing came out of it in the end but that was still one of the funniest WTF moments of the MCU almost at par with Nick Fury’s post-credit scene in the first Iron Man. Another awesome moment was the appearance of Vision and Scarlet Witch’s vintage costume. It also proves that their classic costumes are doable with a few tweaks here and there.

One of the strengths of the show is that the episodes are released on a weekly basis. It gives viewers time to catch up with one another and discuss the events of each episode as well as speculate on their theories and predictions. It’s the reason why Wandavision is currently the most popular show for the past few weeks. But the weekly release format also has its disadvantages as the hype, fan theories and conjectures have gone out of control and cause disappointment when their expectations are not met. I am guilty of this also. I believe that this show would be received by casual viewers who will binge watch it. I also feel that fans will be less harsh and more accepting of the show when rewatching in the future as they now know what to expect and can just enjoy the show for what it presents.

The aftermath of Wandavision has some huge ramifications to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Wanda has officially become the Scarlet Witch and one of the, if not the most, powerful character in the MCU (sorry, Hawkeye). Last we saw her, Wanda was studying the Darkhold which could lead to more crazier stuff down the line as we’ll soon find out in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and possibly Spider-Man: No Way Home. The original Vision is back and he has retained some or all of his memories. Monica Rambeau gains superpowers and will eventually become Spectrum. She’s going to space and possibly be part of Secret Invasion. The powerful witch Agatha Harkness makes her debut and will no doubt serve as the Loki to Wanda’s Thor in future appearances. The personal journey of Wanda is tragic for sure as she lost loved ones but she has inadvertently caused a lot of death and suffering wherever she goes as well. She could be the creator or the destroyer of worlds in the future.

Better than the current CW superhero trash shows, better than most of the boring Netflix-Marvel shows, better than the awful YA Marvel shows on Freeform and Hulu, Wandavision is a tragic love story and coping up with loss at its core. It has been a fun ride and I’ve enjoyed reading people’s posts and discussing the show every week. See you all two weeks from now when The Falcon and Winter Soldier arrives (which I’ve said from the start would be better than Wandavision bleh)

Rating: 7.510

She let her out because she needed her to use her powers so she could absorb them. That’s her whole skill set & the same thing she did to the old chicks and her mom.

hex is gone. SW got rid of it & then put the juju on Agatha to make her a dumb bitch until she decides otherwise.
