Walter White vs Michael Westen

Bruce was awesome guy too but like I said, Coby Bell just mixed better with everyone. Bruce was funny guy though for sure.

I was working props so I was on set everyday so if they were on the call sheet for the day, I'd be with them.

Sounds like you have an interesting job bro. You should make a thread about some of the celebrities you've been around. Would be interesting. And Burn Notice is one of my favorite shows, so it'd be cool to hear all the behind the scenes stuff.

killed 12 highly protected men in 2 minutes without it being traced back to him without even lifting a finger or putting himself in any danger

Good point. I'd forgotten he did that.

I think people are forgetting the episode where Michael Westen almost got killed by a bomb in his house, but luckily for him he jumped over the rail and survived, then Bruce Campbell pretty much saved him after IIRC.

So an example of Michael surviving an attempted assassination planned by a rogue psychopathic special forces spy assassin thanks to his reflexes and his training is proof a teacher would best him?

Walt is a resourceful son of a bitch, he could very well find a way to poison him or put some sort of bomb in a place where Michael Westen would least expect it.

Have you forgotten about this guy?

Walt is basically a poor man's Larry, and Michael went several rounds with the real deal and GSP'd his way to a clean sweep. You could also throw in this guy:

Brennen was a vicious lunatic and Michael threatened to kill his little girl

And, of course, as TheStruggle mentioned:

This dude is so twisted and cunning, he'd somehow figure out Michael was going after Walter and would kill Walter first and wait for Michael to show up to find him jumping rope with old Walt's intestines just for the fun of it :icon_twis

I'm also not sure if Westen could take down some of the guys that Walt took down

That's OK. Everybody else who knows anything about Michael Westen is quite sure

Michael Westen almost got killed when he went home, as soon as he opened the door, his house blew up. Luckily, he caught on and he went over the railing and survived because he wasn't hit by the blast.

That's why I'm saying Walt stands a chance. Not that he's going to go in and fuck Michael Westen up with ease or something, just that he can definitely prepare something and give him some serious fits.

Never watched Burn Notice. Is it actually any good, besides this supposed badass character?

Walt has had his car bugged, his phone tapped by Mike, and had his home home invaded by those twins. He is severely over matched against Michael. Walt actually lives a civilian life where as Michael is off the grid. It would be too easy for Michael to get the drop on him.

See the thing is that Walt won't know when Westen will decide to finally strike. Michael will invade his home and base of operations, figure out his way of life and how he works, and decide how to finish Walt off.

And if anything goes wrong, Westen's improvisation skills would help him turn the tides in his favor.

Burn notice sux.

Meh I wouldn't go that far but I personally would put it at the C+/B- level as far as quality goes.

Basically, this is what we can conclude from this thread.

BrBa>>>>BN

Westen however would easily solo Walt if they were ever matched up against one another.

It's a fun show. Most of the episodes, especially in the early seasons, are cases of the week. Westen dealing with crime gangs and other rogue spies, that he takes care with in an hour. It has the feel of an 80's action show, similar to A-team, and that is a compliment. As the show goes on, things get more serial and darker as Westen faces things that takes him all season to deal with and people around him get targeted.

That's a perfect way to put it. I never made the "80's action show" connection, but you're right. That's probably why I dig it.

It would depend on which universe the fight took place in. BB had some unrealistic stuff happen, but BN is complete fantasy. Weston's antics wouldn't fly in BBs world. He is definitely the superior combatant though.

There is nothing wrong with good fun shows. Yes dark gritty shit is great, but there is a place for lighter fare similar to the shows in the 80's. Burn Notice, Chuck, Leverage, Psych, Suits.. all fun shows.

No way should this poll be close. Westin is a legend.

This. Westen has the skills to hang and bang with any of the Big Three - Bond, Bauer and Bourne. He's that good.

Breaking Bad is a superior show than Burn Notice in every way. But in any kind of confrontation, Westen prison rapes Walt and hardly breaks a sweat.

The Russians are scared of Michael Westen. I think he can handle a chemistry teacher.

Agree completely. I love most of the USA network shows. They're family friendly, but still really good. Psych is probably my favorite show, and one of the funniest on tv. Burn Notice, Suits, Leverage...I like 'em all.

LOL @ this poll, people must not know about Westen, he's a badass.
