Walmart could close because of too much theft?

Hey Walmart I suspect you could stop a lot of theft if you quit making your customers do the work for you at self check out. It's ridiculous they have 20 empty check outs and a huge line at self check out. Looks to me like not only is theft much higher when you let customers check out on their own but also legitimate mistakes. I was raised not to steal so I know I check out correctly but I'm sure it would be extremely easy to steal multiple items every visit if I wanted to.

I’m the opposite. Unless I’m doing bulk shopping more than 15 items. Even if cashier lanes are empty I’ll get out faster with self checkout. And on days when it’s super crowded it’s a god send.

They'll have to deal with the same shoplifters as Walmart, which they won't stand a chance. They'll go out of business in a week in these diverse neighborhoods.
