Movies Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery

I loved Knives Out, was surprised by how great of a movie it was, every actor brought the heat and it was filled with so many hilarious wacky characters and also had one of the most lovely pure babyfaces of all time, together they took us on one heck of a rollercoaster ride of a tale

Then the second one sucked ass

May watch this one, not excited for it though, not one bit!

I like glass onion little more than knives out. Just felt like glass onion didn’t take itself as seriously and I just had more fun watching it. The first film I was viewing from more of a critical lense trying to find plot holes but second film was just fun and taking the piss

Oh , thank fuck , I thought I was a bit deranged for preferring the second one too.

first was a 9/10
second i can hardly remember - maybe 5/10

maybe they should stop making eternal franchises if they're just going to turning them into slop the first chance they get.

I like the fact the Star Wars fan boys hate them on principle......thought the first one was decent enough, nothing special. No real desire to watch the second one.

I only saw part of the first one. From what o saw it looked good.
The second one was great. I loved it.
Can’t wait for the third.

Lol, a lot of people are but hurt about the second one. I wonder why.

I didn't realize the 2nd movie was out. Probably since I don't have Netflix.

Since the Poirot franchise has stumbled, the Knives films are our only hope for big ticket mysteries.

I'm in the same camp as most. Absolutely loved the first and felt the second was a letdown. KO was a first class mystery. GO leaned too far into the weirdness. Hope WUDM knocks it out of the park.

By the time it's all over, most of Daniel Craig's career will have been spent playing the same 2 characters
