The amount of delusional max fans throughout that trilogy was exhausting. I like max, but man his fans were horrible. I'm glad that is in the past now.

But how do you know his peak when the best fighters he fought are Conor and Gatje? As opposed to Volk who fought Holloway multiple times. Volk's best 5 wins are all against higher level fighters than Khabib's single best win.

i happen to think very highly of rda and dustin porier tbh. I Also like justin. conor i like too but not as much...but the 2 you left off are absolute dogs. again....do you think khabib was losing anytime soon? honestly? or are you just saying for the sake of argument. I for sure didnt see him losing soon at all.
 
And these guys were a foot taller than him! Mad props to Volk man, people need to realize this guy needs to work 2X harder than a regular guy because of his size and yet he accomplishes things!

i don't remember ever seeing a champion with an undefeated record and so clearly dominate all of the top contenders.
 
KZ's face doesn't even tell the full story. That was a massive beatdown. Made him look like he did not belong at all.

Felt sorry for Zombie. I knew it would be a rough one but still expected him to land some solid counters here and there.

But Volk was way too fast, smart, accurate and powerful in there.

The dude really came into his own. Its crazy how much better he is getting with every fight. Watch him against Mendes or Aldo and you'd think its a different fighter alltogether.

His rise has been one of the most impressive in recent years imo.

It's not the Khabib hate, it's just funny how people consider him the GOAT or one of the greatest fighters of all time with his 3 title defenses.
 
Khabib didn't hang around long enough for the praise he gets
