He's Turkish Kurd. Half the Kurdish population is from Turkey (16 million people), the vast majority of whom are pro-Turkey. If they weren't, 16 million people would have caused an uprising, but Kurdish protests usually number no more than 200 people at most.

The media distorts the image of Kurdish opinion, they present it like its all homogeneous which it isn't. (For example: Kurdish Islamists have 17 of the 100 seats in Iraqi Kurdistan parliament, I've never seen media talk about their existence; or the fact that PKK/YPG is completely separate from Iraqi Kurdistan. Media just lumps them all together as "The Kurds", and how the Turks want to kill them...even tho Turkey was Iraqi Kurdistan's biggest trading partner.)

never denied that. could be very well the case, but we can't know for sure with Saki.
