Volkan vs Rumble

Who do you think is better, hits harder/is faster/more technical. Cormier took care of Rumble twice and I think Rumble hits harder is is much faster, might not be as technical but overall, I'd pick rumble to beat Volkan. The only question mark is DC's chin after the KO, if it's not totally gone, I see an easier victory for DC because Volkan is not as fast and not good of a wrestler as rumble.

There's vids out there of them sparring, and Rumble openly praised his stand-up during a post fight presser...

Yeah, that's his biggest edge. From what I've seen so far, I agree with TS that Rumble is a better striker and better wrestler. He just folds easily if his gameplan doesn't work out. I can't imagine Rumble losing to Kelly Anundson like Volkan did.

Being tougher may help Volkan go the distance, but I don't think his chances are very good...unless age and wear are finally catching up with Cormier (certainly possible for a 38-year old who got brutally KO'd in his last fight).

We need to see more of Volkan but the power and speed in his short punches in impressive. He gets people with those shits they don't see coming, neither Rumble nor DC should take this ability lightly

Now if we're talking Rumble vs. Volkan (I thoughy the discussion was each guy vs Cormier), I'd have to go with Rumble. Like I said, he folds easily, but this has only happened on the ground. He's never lost a striking war. It could happen, but I think it would take a really good and tough fighter to outlast and eventually outstrike him.

Volkan beat Manure, who showed no respect and isnt much more than a puncher and got rekt.

I did say legit "name". I realise Andre is way past his best but he is dangerous if you fuck about. OSP is the most hot and cold fighter I can think of. Cirkunov never beat anybody of note and Manuwa's abilities are beyond overrated but I know what you're saying.

They're very different in that Rumble will throw big power shots at you, where as Volkan is knocking people out from weird angles from shots that don't look that hard.

Rumble for sure hits harder but I think Volkan is more unpredictable
