Hes absolutely right. Aldo didnt lose for a freaking decade.
Volk is a great fighter, Im not taking anything from him. But I honestly believe Prime Aldo beats Prime Volk.

Yeah 10 years is one hell of a run but I’d say after 2017 USADA is when the competition counts more. Nothing is more disappointing in sports to see athletes perform on PEDs even when “everyone is on it”.

Facts he moved up to WW to fight a unranked WW that called him out, got choked out and then went life and death with him.

Moving up really hurt his game, no one at 145 would've taken the shots Nate took in the rematch. And the skill level was so many leagues apart, Conor used Nate's head like a heavy bag in the first two rounds. His striking back then was so next level in MMA.

Conor and Topuria's legacy at 145 are very similar. Guess you can say Conor's is a bit better because Aldo wasn't coming off a KO loss when Conor beat him, Aldo was on a massive win streak.

So Aldo was Conor's Volk and Mendes was his Holloway. Those were the 2 top guys in the division back then and Conor finished them both. I guess Poirier was his Emmett.
