Theres no such thing as 35 curse. It is an individual sport and people on top tend to be at their best after certain amount of years doing mma as profession not to mention how body works after certain points in life. Most fighters acchieve this at younger age and never get it back so Volks longevity is whats to be celebrated here. What Im saying its combination of multiple different things and not just simply a numrical age thing.
Curse wise more impressive was beating Drake and Gianni the greek curses. Now if only Chael Sonnen picked against him then he did something resembling of a miracle

Yeah he essentially just got really unlucky by having the glove badly scrape his eyeball. It wasn't even a solid punch that cracked him or anything like that.

I did. I think when people watch it back they will see how dominant Volk was throughout the fight. He was getting the better of him even in the 4th and Diego's face was fucked up much more that Volks at the end of the fight which tracks with the stats.
