first let me say that vitor isn't even in my top 10 favorite fighters. most of the time when he is fighting there is a fight that I'm looking forward to more than his. but as far as ability, longevity, overall success and his come back goes, he is the best. after he wins vs weidman, he solidifies it.

I'm overall disappointed in the entire fight. Nick is going to get suspended longer than Silva, which is a joke. Silva got to come into a fight after taking a test and failing. The results shouldn't be coming after the fight in order to protect the fighters, or what's the point? One of the greatest ever has to resort to cheating against a WW, when he has made LHWs look silly.

Vitor is one of my favorite fighters has been for a very long time, but he isn't even close to being the GOAT. He has zero case over these fighters: Fedor, GSP, Anderson, Jones no case what so ever.

Vitor is fun to watch, and that's all that matters to me. Records aren't the end-all-be-all. All they do is cement supposed GOAT lists that ultimately do not matter. I'm entertained by Belfort. He's done is job.

But for me, he forever lost any hope of GOAT status during this fight.

well, Silva just got popped for roids, and had a lackluster event against a MW that was tailor made for him.
