Is Vaghi's school the only one in STL? And if not, what options are there and where do you guys recommend? I'm just going out to visit and wanted to get a chance to roll while I'm there.

There are others, but none that are as highly rated. Vaghi's school is the *best* in the area, nothing else comes close. Vaghi is a black belt representative of Rickson Gracie, and was trained in the original Gracie Academy in Rio. His school is very competitve, and has some high ranking purple belts as well as many blue belts and whites. Vaghi is a very slow promoter, so those students tend to be much better than ones I've found at many schools. His students have also participated in MMA, most notably Steve Berger. You won't be disappointed there.

    I train at Vaghi's :)

Only other BJJ school in the St Louis area I know of is J.W. Wright's Grappling Concepts...J.W. is a purple belt under Royler.

When are you gonna be in town and for how long? PM me if you want any more details about rolling at Vaghi's :)
