Yeah, I saw a Christian movie once, involving a post apocalyptic world. It was quite surprising when the Christianness revealed itself about half way through.

Our Hateful Conduct policy is designed to protect our community from attacks based on a person’s protected characteristics, such as race, nationality, religion, or sexuality. The policy prohibits harmful behaviors, like suggesting that a victim of harm deserved it, or sharing a hateful image or symbol.

Its meaningless. Their moderation team needs to be axed from the constant inconsistency of playing favorites. Development wise they also need to start developing targeted advertising algorithms like YouTube. Instead of relying on the streamer to properly label their content.

I can't stand the double standard, it was so blatant, but it didn't take long for the slippery slope to get awfully slippery. This is why the whole "hate speech" thing needs to go away. If a user advocates for criminal violence against a person or a group of people, make that a violation. What should race or gender or any other stupid shit have to do with it? "Kill all white people" or "we should kill any white person wearing a red hat!". That person is encouraging others to kill innocent people. Who cares if they're white or what hat they're wearing?
Instead we get this crap where they write into policy an assumptive inference of intent (violent hatefulness aimed towards Jews) based on a term that has an explicit denotation, and neither by denotation nor mere connotation carries that implication. Zionism is a real political movement, with a real set of beliefs, and how else is someone supposed to refer to it? JFC, Twitch manages to be more stupid than the herd of cats they aim to wrangle.

It's a silly over correction, but it doesn't seem that advertisers have totally abandoned Twitch yet. What's been going on is they just started completing cutting off certain stream tags from ad revenue (without actually telling anyone or what those tags are).
But basically it seems that political and election stream tags had their revenue completely evaporate.
This is a pretty stupid way of handling it, because the streamers will just figure out which tags have revenue blocked and not use them. The stream tags are completely arbitrary and you can make up any tag you want. It might limit a big political streamer a bit, but the issue on twitch isn't just big streamers it's small streamers with a few dozen maybe a couple hundred viewers saying even more wild shit. They will just not use the tags that are revenue blocked and keep doing their thing.
