Virtual Reality UFC / MMA game!

Oh noes mom I am not fucking my sister, we were just playing EA Grappling 2019 in VR...

Well even though it kinda gives the effect, the PS4 VR really feels different.. and i think even that one is the worst one available. PC vr is already a few steps ahead imo (tried them both).

Yeah, I'm aware of things such as Oculos (sp), but I've already got that PS4...babysteps.

As a owner of a VR-set.... i would advice to wait a few years until it is fully developed.

Yeah it is awesome, especially the first time you put the headset on... but every game i played still feels like work in progress with the VR-set on. Went back to using my 2d screen again.

VR-porn is awesome though.

Out of curiosity, which VR set are you referring to?

I own a Samsung MR-set. And yes the Vive and Oculus look a bit better (tried them both), but i still think waiting a few years is a good option for those who want a "good" experience.

That said as a gimmick it is awesome imo.

Except for robo recall and specially lone echo, I would agree with you completely. Lone Echo is one of the best gaming experiences of my life.

Haven't tried that one, will look into it, thanks!

Any of you guys ever play this crappy game?

Sadly. As you say, it seems to be the exception. Most games feel like mobile games with the added vr gimmick. They are getting better though, slowly... sadly

Tried this zombie VR multiplayer game. Hell of fun but still a work in progress. Once they straighten out the kinks it would be awesome (no melee)

To me VR is unsuitable for mma games. Its not feasible to have gamers do high kicks for real. That just takes a chunk of your potential customers away.

Resident Evil 7 Biohazard was a different approach. As a player, you play seated as with any 2D game. And there was a 2D version that people praised for its quality environment and gameplay... and with the VR version you could be immersed in that quality environment and gameplay.

Makes me feel like puking in about a minute . Some people are just more prone to that though.

I had (and still kinda have) the same problem. If i play for over an hour i kinda feel sick the rest of the day. I'm starting to get used to it, but it takes time.

One time something went wrong and perspective changed completely in a nanosecond and i became instant sick, even to the point i had to puke.

Still a long way to go imo lol.

Fair enough... maybe my expectations were too high.. above all i find it very very tiresome to use.. apart from the motion sickness (kinda used to it now), my brain seems to use a lot of energy taking in all the information when using VR.

But yeah, the possibilities are HUGE, i just feel it needs a couple more years to really "work" for me.
Sorry for the late reply, my job keeps me working long hours at times to pay for my vr headset ;)

But yeah, I've heard about motion sickness from some buddies who have the rift. Personally I didn't experience any of it yet no matter if I'm playing an FPS game or Vivecraft minecraft mod. And I've played for 4-5 hrs before with only short breaks for food/drink bathroom. However, I definitely agree with the tiresome statement--but I think that's kind of part of why I like VR. You aren't being sedentary while playing. I think we just arent used to using some of our muscles the way we use them in vr--no weight at all to balance out holding our virtual rifle steady is just not something I do in everyday life.

So maybe the more you play a particular game the less fatigue and motion sickness you will feel? Just guessing here.

Still I gotta admit that I'd be stoked for a legit VR MMA game. My favorite sport and hobby (gaming) rolled into one would be sick--however I don't know if its feasible with the current hardware and cords. Maybe on a smartphone setup it could work.
