Vieira dominated Tate

Viera won but it wasnt that dominate, 48-47 was fair....Misha looked a bit slower and weaker compared to ger opponent and it wont be getting any easier going forward for her.

Viera won the 5th easily making her win look better than it was. She could have 50-45'd Tate but she seems like she is worried she will get tired. Her strikes are good, but she is happy to stand there and do nothing for long periods.

It was a close fight. They don't judge them as a whole, they judge them round by round.

The correct scorecards were the 48-47 ones.

Meisha wasn't outclassed by any means.

This
she won the rounds she could get some kind of grappling going on.

That's what you think "domination" looks like?

50 - 45?!?!?!? My Spidey sense says OP might get boners from masculine Brazilian women.

Tate should hang em up
Yes, this.
She's not going to get near a title-shot.
Vieira isn't really that good, she didn't throw that much volume and seemed far too respectful of tate, but still slowly beat her up.
Aldana or Holm or Peña would munch thru Tate.
Tate's never been that good really, apart from toughness and durability and some ok chokes and ground work. Her striking is awful, and very very slow & ponderous. Never learned how to head-kick, nor bodykick. It's all just rather average low-volume boxing, and her hand-speed looks like she is punching underwater.

Quite glad that "Tate 2.0" hype train effectively ended here.

I'd like to see Irene Aldana get a 135lb title-shot soon (after the next Nunes/Peña fight).
I think she has as good a chance as anyone.

Any one else notice Tate had the most awkward hand position while striking? She was like borderline on invisible defense shield shit at one point. She gets points tho for that 3 finger oil check she did to Ketlen hahahaha

kinda wish Viera show less respect and pull the trigger on Tate.
Sounds like u were heavily influenced by the commentary. I don't think that was the case. Tate was using weird movement and timing and made it tough for her to get going.

Tate seemed so slow. Surprised she wasn’t countered even more. Was she always this slow?

Unpopular opinion:

Tate's face swelled up and looked that bad not just because of the punches but because she has shot up her entire face with botox and shit and her skin is without any punches to it already the stretch the fuck out
this might well be accurate. Good observation.
She definitely seems to have had cosmetic procedures done. And her body also looks.....different than before.
Magically.

Meisha has the Matt Hughes syndrome when it comes to striking.

idk if she doesn’t take to it or train it enough, but I haven’t seen her striking improve since the Zingano fight.

she has had more than enough time to develop her standup.
