Khabib = seamless integration of folkstyle rides and wrist control of Askren + guard passing of Maia + version 2.0 ground and smesh of GSP = relentless smesh, no can defend.

Thanks TS, I like those. Cool to watch the evolution of Khabibs game to utilize the cage a lot more nowadays to get his takedowns.

Ben Askren is probably going to make an insane wrestling coach.

Dude is legit awesome... This is like next level stuff. Ferguson will be in trouble on his back. That grappling and ground and pound is known to break a man... #APRIL 7th!!!

Ugh, Robin Black... he has nice enthusiasm for the sport, but I think I will give this video a miss.

BJJSCOUT or gtfo
BJJ scout has several videos in Khabib and explained how he's got a tight game which looks like Askren-GSP-Maia rolled into one. The UFC has been hammering BJJscouts videos for copyright infringement so he's got to use more graphics and pictures to demonstrate his concepts. Quite assholish of them.

Shame Khabib can't stay healthy, interested or make weight at 155.

I wonder if Khabib becomes the new lightweight champ and stays so for a while, will MMA evolve to be much more Catch Wrestling based than it is now, with Khabib's general style ( A lot of Dagestani fighters also fight in a similar way but Khabib is obviously the best at it) being the next new thing in MMA's general evolution?

Serious question Sherbros:

I'm not going to be able to watch UFC 223 live, nor will I be able to watch in next day. I'm going to have to wait until Monday or Tuesday.

I expect Conor to make an announcement about his next fight (and why he's not being stripped but instead willingly dropping the belt) around the same time frame. And like I predicted a while ago, I still think there's a large possibility that Jones reaches a suspension agreement with USADA (48-54 months) around the same time.

So Sherbros, I know I'll have to avoid Sherdog during those dates, but how am I too survive?
Put in your ear plugs, buy some blinders, and throw your phone away.

Why won't you be able to watch?

Very nice videos! Thanks for sharing @MMAart .

Logic says Khabib is gonna take Ferguson down and punish him there. But heart says Ferguson is gonna pull one of his crazy stuff and get that late finish after a bloody war.

Glad you liked the videos. They're quite informative and entertaining to watch.

Ferguson's best chance, in my opinion, is his elbows that he lands from guard. He did this against Lee and that was what slowed Lee down, which lead to the submission.

So, I think this fight comes down to whether or not Ferguson can land those elbows from the bottom. If Khabib can avoid or neutralize these elbow attacks, he wins decisively.
