I gave up on DOOM 3 pretty early so I don't know if I qualify, but I vastly prefer DOOM 4 since it seems to go back to its "kill everything that moves" roots. Also, I know it was easily fixable with the duct tape mod, but I hated using a flashlight. I like survival horror, but it just didn't really work for me.

Always liked the 'realism' (Or the prospect of realism) in XCOM than Final Fantasy Tactics... so I have to say XCOM although if everyone disagrees then I i'll be willing to budge.

Glad we had some older games to compare because im about to compare two of them (that I still play regularly).

Ninja gaiden vs shinobi. I go with gaiden. Simply because it has aged well. Cs 1.6 by a country mile btw. Best fps all time.

DS3. Bloodborne was awesome but managing blood vials and having to fast travel to a hub and THEN your destination got kinda old.

Gotta go C&C. That shit was a special time in my childhood. Brilliant gameplay, but the presentation, the FMV and the music set it apart, and made it so much more absorbing than Warcraft 2 (And most games of the period tbf)
