I didn't hear of this before, I remember Cruz saying at a press conference that Faber makes money from his fighters but here he really breaks it down. If it's true that's pretty sad.
 
Also his chin has shares in the grand canyon and he makes money from tours!
 
Yeah he was really harping on that during the post fight conference. It's most likely true.
 
Was this from his MMAHOUR interview? I don't recall him saying "shares in mmafighting.com"

I don't think Dom is ready to give up the rivalry just yet. Faber seems to be done with it though

Whats wrong with that? He pays for the gym and most of their coaches. Why not get reimbursed when his fighters become successful?
 
He's making it sound like a bad thing. Faber is not taking money for nothing, he is helping them. Alpha male at the end of the day is a business. Got to make money. Faber sacrificed alot of his time and money to build that gym up and it is a decent camp.

Cruz seems like that friend who wins an argument then constantly reminds you he won even when it has nothing to do with the situation.

It's just two different personalities and approaches to life. Both guys are so different but you can't tell me that if they were both alone without cameras they wouldn't have a laugh with each other after a couple of beers. The egos of both men will not allow it obviously but I think there is respect there. Dominicks main source of drive has been this rivalry it seems, as much as he's played it down. I think the thought of not having Faber in his life is terrifying

I think Dom will always have some hatred toward Faber. I think it stems from urijah generally being lIked by fans whereas Cruz is not. Sure he has fans and his popularity has grown since his injuries but still.

Yeah. Let it go Dom, you've already beaten him on the battlefield. Why kick him whens he's down? Cruz must really dislike Faber....Piling on like this.

I forgot about the Garbrandt fight. Maybe Cruz is the type of person who feels like if he now acts all humble and nice to Faber, it's going to seem like he doesn't take him seriously anymore. It's like one of those scenarios that are interpreted differently by everyone. Say if you saw a kid sitting on his own at lunch in school, would you go over and keep him company to make him feel better, or would you feel it's better to just not even make him aware that he looks lonely.
 
Who fucking cares how Faber makes and spends his money.
