But I'd also not pretend to give a shit about my fans or pretend to be champion when I haven't fought for 1,5 years. That's just weird and pretty stupid.
I mean come on, the dude doesn't give a shit anymore. It's clearly evident. Lets stop pretending like he's in fight-shape because he probably spends more time snorting coke than actually training.

I would, if he wasn't champion of the most stacked and interesting division in the UFC and wouldn't stall this great division.

He probably did the surgery now because he see whats going on right now. Conor is ducking, and the two top contenders gonna fight this weekend.

So either way, it was a good time to get it done.
 
@chefa claims Conor both won the belt from Jose and defended his abolished interim belt at the same time giving Conor one title defense in his career. Please expand on your logic chefa.

I don't think Tony is ever getting the real belt. I bet he fights the winner of Khabib/Barboza (Khabib) in a defense of the interim belt. After seeing how Kevin Lee made Tony look like a white belt on the ground before gassing to staph antibiotics I see an absolute mauling in his future. Khabib then fights Conor for the real belt.

Maybe he fights Conor in March though. That's his only shot at the real belt.
