Victor Wembanyama security slaps britney

The guard deserves to be fired and banned from security jobs in future. It’s retarded to react to whoever you’re guarding being grabbed by a weapon less petite women by slapping them. You can push or pull them away with full force. A slap is just abusing your power.

It’s not difficult.

The one who assaulted a woman over a trivial matter because he wasn’t doing his job properly to begin with is the one in the wrong.
It is terrible but that is what security does. If someone touched her in her heyday. Her security would have slapped them too.

This. During 2000 to 2010 same would of happened in reverse..

Young blood knows there’s an issue in the NBA with players and these pawgs. Security did the right thing. Sadly now this kid’s name will be attached to this incident for years to come.

The comments would be different if the races were reversed

I hope she sues Gumby

- Shaking O'Neal doens't need a bodyguard.

What pathetic "sport", the so called A level athletes are frail like cristal. With the excemption being Shaq of course.

That bodyguard training consists of injecting insulin and boldenone probably.

A proper professional would’ve made sure you wouldn’t even get close enough to touch her without having to resort to assaulting you.

The fact that she got close enough to touch him in the first place tells me this guy’s "security" are probably glorified goons without proper training as bodyguards.

A lot of celebrity, "bodyguards" are about one step above the average club bouncer. 'roid heads who look intimidating and can beat the crap out of creepy fans, paparazzi etc. But no real skills in Close Protection unless they are ex-Military or Law Enforcement.

Not it is not and no they wouldn’t.

What security is supposed to do is keep strangers from getting close enough to touch the person they’re guarding.

And private security is not law enforcement. They don’t have carte blanche to assault people unless their charge is actually in danger.

This. During 2000 to 2010 same would of happened in reverse..

No. Because she would’ve been protected by actual professionals that don’t go around assaulting people left and right.

Amazing how anyone can say “yes smacking a small woman was the right move!! brittany’s security would have stopped me too!”

A security guard stopping your fat ass from grabbing a small woman is not equal to a small woman touching a 7’2” athlete.

Dude seems to have handled it poorly as well. He could have simply said “I didn’t see what happened, but I’m sorry it was a bad experience for her, I’d love to meet her next time” and send her a jersey or something.

I don't like folks with knee-jerk responses like that. A security guard who slapped her because he was startled, cops who shoot because they claim to have been spooked. It reminds me of horses that kick when they're frightened, as humans we should be more controlled.

Granted you shouldn't approach a security person from behind, still an overreacting IMO.

That said, I'm basing it on the headline, I didn't read the entire article.
Well, there are some ironic things to unpack here. First you say don't like people that are too quick to draw conclusions, then you admit you're only basing your opinion on the headline. But even the headline in the article specifically states it was the NBA dude, not the security guard that was startled by her approaching from behind.

I guess it's understandable that it's some paparazzi subject you don't want to bother too much with, but it's something to think about perhaps.

You don't see them in action. It doesn't work that way in practice. I am not trying to argue what it is supposed to be but rather how it is practiced.

So you are saying it is ok to grab on males if the person doing the grabbing is a woman. Is it ok for a small male to grab a larger female?

I’m not even going to entertain your stupidity.

Is there actually a source that he slapped her other than Brittany spears?
