RDA at welter was always interesting to me. Apparently he's had a hard time cutting to 155 (or is just how he copes with losses there) but man against actual 170'ers those 15 pounds seem like a massive fucking difference. I got Luque by finish if he isn't on a downward spiral.

Reminder RDA is and always will be the fucking true BMF. Never turned down a hard fight

Easy work for Luque. Bigger, better hands, and has the submission game to counter RDA (he submitted Chiesa recently).

This will be a party for certain!

:meow:

Noooooo! I don't want either to lose.

Luque looked off after losing to Belal and getting killed by Neal seemed to be the result but this is still a good match up for him to rebound back.
Luque has solid TDD and very fundamental striking with a stiff jab so while RDA is very sound in his own right without a massive speed or power advantage like Belal and Neal had I think RDA's striking and wrestling doesn't have the necassary power needed to throw Luque off of his game. RDA without a doubt can go tic for tac but if it's a rangy striking battle Luque's power should be enough to give him the edge.
If this was the RDA that fought Lawler and Colby I'd take him all day to beat Luque like Belal did but honestly RDA's strength has clearly been waning and his cardio isn't a weapon anymore (still great but can't kill guys with it).

I'm a huge RDA fan and believe at his peak he was good enough to be WW champ (With a better manager he could've fought Woodley instead of fighting Colby) so I really hope he turns the clock back but I think Luque is just too big, strong and doesn't have any glaring weaknesses that RDA can exploit or has the style to exploit.

Luque's fighting style has a short shelf life and that Geof Neal fight looked very bad.

RDA's a good matchup for Luque to rebound from.

Wow, excellent and unexpected match up. I don't think anyone saw this coming (unless you were involved).

I'll definitely want to see this.

RDA's strength of schedule is ridiculous. I'm a fan of both guys and this should be entertaining. Good, fan friendly match making right here. RDA himself has said he's not interested in holding up any divisions and just wants to fight. This fits the bill. Hopefully they're both paid very well.

My prediction is RDA wins, Luke doesn't grape much
