Vic Darchinyan vs Jorge Arce

arce is damaged good at this point. His face is full of scar tissue and he has taken a lot of damage throughout his ring life. Vic should have him out of there fairly easily.
I assume he's had a lot of that scar tissue removed. He hasn't been cut in a while, has he?

Maybe, I saw him in the audience for some card on one of the mexican channels. His face looked awful. Maybe it was the lighting or something.

I'm going to Arce, use to remind me of a small version or duran. Not sure if ARce can beat Darchinyan though. Hes got too many miles on him already. go arce

Hopefully he uses his reach against Darchinyan. If he brawls the whole time I don't think he can handle vic's power

Arce does have a chance in this fight, but he's got to keep the fight on the move and not get sucked inside too much. It would be extremely unwise to stand toe-to-toe with Vic. That'd be a good way for Arce to end up flat on his back.

Arce has a great chin and a heart as big as the pacific ocean but if Vic catches him with a clean one, he's going to sleep.

Vic Dar owes Montiel a match before he moves up. I hope he gets another chance to face Donaire as well before he makes the transition and get killed at 122.

Vic could outbox Arce all day. I think Arce's only shot is getting inside and trying to pressure Vic on the ropes. I don't really see it happening though.

I don't think Arce is that shot, he's never been an amazing fighter - most the time he's been stuck in interim champ status fighting bums and when he did step it up the few times, he's looked exceptionally worse.

I somehow see Arce coming out with the victory, I believe he will take it to about the sixth or seventh a tko Vic after working the body.

I'd like Arce to win, but don't see it happening. Vic really needs to seek out revenge on Donaire before he thinks about anything else after this fight...

Vic would've beaten Arce when Arce was at his best a few years ago....back when Vic was the most ducked man in the sport and he was calling Arce out.

But now...I mean Arce needed help from the judges to squeak by Lookmahanak and ate a ton of shots against Concepcion. I think Vic's going to murder him, it's not going to be close.

Arce is no longer in his prime anymore. He has been in too many battles. He had 26 or so straight wins before he lost to Mijares. Its clear that Arce has issues with pure boxers and that is what Mijares is. I highly doubt Vic could just outbox Arce. Darchinyan is too sloppy to just box from the outside. He get impatient and just goes swinging for the fences with his hands down. I do think Darchinyan will probably stop Arce with his power but I definitely don't want to count Arce out. Arce's got to fight the perfect fight to win and I will definitely be cheering for him.

Looking forward to this one, didn't know if it'd be on live over here but it's on Setanta. Should be an exciting fight..

I'm going to be in LA, and trying to decide if I am going to this...

Anyone know who's on the undercard?

Never mind, found it.

Antonio DeMarco (19-1-1, 13 KOs) will take on “Kid Diamond” Almazbek Raiymkulov (27-1-1, 15 KOs)
