Lmao the advantage IS significant. Weight difference is a massive advantage in fighting sport, and it's not just weight but also the consequences of cutting which Costa is barely going to have. Someone cutting vs. someone completely diregarding cutting are two very different fighters.

Yes and no. Also, Vettori is skipping the hardest part of his cut. A weight advantage is one advantage, yes, but it's not always going to be the biggest and sole determining factor in a fight. I'm not saying that what Costa did isn't an issue, I'm saying that it isn't some catastrophic and fight altering occurrence. Especially since Marvin had some notice. He's probably a bit relieved to not have to finish his cut and get some extra money.
