Opinion Very weird article about Obama

"Don't complain about an issue you did nothing to correct..." Who did more complaining about things they did nothing to correct than the Senate Republican majority? Were you consistent in your criticism of them? I can't say I recall.

It sounds like you are trying to say 6 solid years of total obstructionism by the Republicans had nothing to do with how the government performed under Obama. It also sounds like you don't see a parallel in the complete inability of the Republicans to get anything done even once they controlled the Congress and the White House.

Obama's administration was spectacular success in comparison.

I thought this was a criticism of me. I don't control what the senate does. I don't really recall the big push on hating white people until just recently either.

Personally I think saying "well what did your side do?" is sort of a weak, bullshit response. This suggests the proper avenue would be to ignore it when "my side" has the power again.

Er no. I was simply pointing out I don't recall you criticizing anyone on "your side" for their ineffectiveness despite how glaringly evident it has been, or criticizing them for complaining about things over which they had control but took no action, yet you choose this completely subjective evaluation of an extremely nuanced issue to suggest Obama is being hypocritical.

Give me examples because this sounds like BS to me. I've been very consistent on my views of how minorities are exploited and played by politicians and social figures for years now.

Er no. Let's go back to the original point instead of discussing a strawman, shall we? You said, "Don't complain about an issue you did nothing to correct..." I ask only if you had the same comment about the 8 years of Republican controlled Congress under Obama and Trump.

The beginning seems deliberately designed to cause people to tune out. For example:

I might have added a sentence in there...
Ugh, stratfor sucks. Their geographical determinism is absurd and sometimes just plain wrong. Example being the often repeated, but mistaken, claim that the USA has the largest contiguous arable landmass. It does not, Russia does.

State-to-state competition is hardwired into the Rio de la Plata region, making a challenge to the United States impossible until there is political consolidation, and that will require not simply Brazil's ascendency but also its de facto absorption of Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina into a single Brazilian superstate. Considering how much more powerful Brazil is than the other three combined, that consolidation — and the challenge likely to arise from it — may well be inevitable but it is certainly not imminent.

LOL, we will conquer Argentina and create a super power based on river navigation and crop growing in the 21th century.

It's unfortunate that black conscious intellectuals like Medgar Evers, James Baldwin, and Malcom X didn't live long enough to respond to the weak contribution Obama made to the black community during his presidency.

People expected someone like Al Sharpton or Spike Lee to be the first black president, instead we got a watered down leader who knew little of the black experience in the US.

One of the few to bring this point up was Cornel West who simultaneously sons Ta-Nehisi Coates and Obama in 1 sentence.
