Hi guys,
My first post here in a long time. Hope all is well with all of you!
I started training a bit of BJJ and my gym is now near work (long commute). My Datsusara Gear Bag Pro GBP-06 is too uncomfortable to carry around. So I need a bag to fit the following in a bag I can commute with:
- A5 gi
- pair of 16oz sparring gloves
- XL shin guards
- 2L Winning headgear
- 15' Laptop
- Change of clothes
- Pair of wrestling shoes
- Shampoo, soap, etc
- Mouthpiece
- Sunglasses, wallet, cell phone, etc
My research has returned a few options: Jaco Convertible Equipment Bag 2.0 (no longer available anywhere!!!!), Twins Special Backpack BAG-5 (available for $80), Datsusara Battlepack Pro ($150).
My questions are:
- Did I forget any options?
- Based on the stuff I need to carry, do I need the largest Datsura backpack?
- Is it worth paying $70 for the Datsusara over the Twins BAG-5?
- Does anyone know where I can find a Jaco Convertible 2.0 bag, not the compact one? BTW, MMA Overload lists the bag as available, but they are out of stock.
Nice to be back.
All the best,
Gus
