It is always good to see people pursuing their inner boyhood dream adventure. BJ Penn was like that he is probably one of the few fighters I know who come from a wealthy household but still the guy was fighting and hungry as ever but for him it was never hunger for money but success.
 
I wonder who his (real) dad is because the guy does not look chechen, or caucasus, at all. like, not at all.

When I saw him the first time and heard that his name was Islam (didnt know the surname at that point) I thought, oh, that must be one of those Albanians who has like a Bosniak parent or at least grandparent. And then boom, no, he is "100%" Chechen, like, yeah, for sure he is, for sho....

Nah he is Chechen. He does look it. Just more on the european side. You just can't spot it. Doesn't look albanian or bosnian.

Ok so why is he not bosnian albanian.

He passes for Albanian, Bonsian, but also for Chechen. I'm Croatian from Bosnia.

TBH I don‘t find that he looks especially weak or a target even when dressed like a cream puff.

To me if I had to make a guess I would have said he looks Algerian Berber. For some reason there are a bunch of Algerian dudes with that look.

I really dont know any Algerian Berber except Zidane so cannot compare, but I do know some Albanians who have a Bosniak parent or grandparent and they do tend to look like Dulatov. Definitely much more than the average and not so average Chechen looks like...

I mean, check out all the chechens we know from MMA and tell me who looks like Dulatov? Like not as handsome but maybe like his ugly or even slightly retarded brother? Who? Taisumov, Zubaira, Kamzat? Although Chechens may look different, 99,9% dont look like Dulatov, not in the slightest. Ive trained with many and the only ones I could have put into that category had a russian mother but they still looked different.
