It looks like all the big-name heavyweights are booked up for the near future. So what is the likelihood of a Travis Browne vs. Cain Velasquez featured bout at UFC 200?
Both guys have a name and following, and both could lobby for title shots off the win. I'd see Cain just overwhelming Browne. But a win over the former champ could be enough for Browne to talk his way into a bout with Werdum, Miocic, or Rothwell.

Cain would smash Browne. Too much pressure, and a superior wrestling game.

Fuck Its hard to get excited for one of Cain's fights these days. I have no doubt he would maul Browne if he was healthy and in shape.

would be a good fight, but Cain will probably get injured again, sorry but I have no faith until I see him at the weigh ins actually there.

If Browne visualizes Cain as his ex girl then he may have a chance to win.

tune up fight for Cain... or maybe redemption for Browne

I thought Cain would be out longer than that?

Cain gonna make that name off Browne

That would be the only time I root for Cain.

Watching him put a beating on Browne like he did to Lesnar, JDS, or Bigfoot the first time and seeing Rondas reaction would be amazing.

That sounds like a good fight! Better run the pipe, Cain, hellbows await! In all honesty, though, I see Cain's straight shots dropping Browne, and a mauling on the ground. Never know til it happens, though, we've all been wrong plenty of times!

Browneye should fight Hunt w/win over Mir, they had little beef

Cain get injured, Roy Nelson step in.
Browne win UD.

you guys are nuts. why does everyone shit on travis here? because he is mr rousey? Dude is a fucking monster. Hes lost some big fights I get it, but he has won some big ones too and if you just watch the guy you can see that he has a very unique style and is quite dynamic on the feet. stop shitting on the guys skills.

Browne is big, fast and agile. Those aren't skills, they're physical aptitudes. People don't like him because he acts like he's an elite fighter because he hit the genetic lottery, and fights dirty but acts smug and superior. Barnett and Gonzaga would have tied him into a pretzel if he hadn't KO'd them with borderline illegal strikes.

I'd love to see him fed into the Velasquez woodchipper.

Good test for both of them, and a great fight to complete UFC 200.
