i like 1 cup of brown rice cooked add 8 oz tomato juice. add chopped up carrotts add celery chopped up add chopped up broccoli. heat it up for another 2 minutes. i love this shit.
Simple Pasta & Beans 1 large Can of crushed tomato (italian style) 1 16oz can of white beans, drained 1/3 lb of elbow macaroni 2 cups of water 1 clove garlic 2 tbs olive oil 1 pinch of dried basil (or 2-3 freshly chopped basil leaves -better) romano cheese Crush or finely chop the garlic. Heat the olive oil in medium saucepan add garlic to oil, cook for 30 sec add crushed tomatos, water, basil, cook over medium heat until bubbling add beans & uncooked pasta and cover reduce heat, simmer for 30 min, stir occasionally Serve in bowl, sprinkle romano cheese on top to taste. (Eliminate cheese if you are a no-dairy vegetarian) Very good cheapo Italian staple dish that has complete protein! (edit: forgot to say when to add the pasta :redface: )
