Vape Pen Explosion

Less talking,

More video lols please...

Yeah that was the battery exploding in his pocket!

Fuck those things. lol

That’s what happens when you puncture a lithium battery. Stab your laptop, cell phone, or Tesla and it’ll do the same thing.
I’ve seen a lot of people have a rope loop to go around there wrist so they don’t drop it. I’m guessing that’s why he couldn’t drop it
I have heard of cell phones exploding on rare occasion from overheating, but I have never heard of anyone puncturing a laptop or cell phone battery. How are the people in these videos "puncturing" their vape pen batteries? I am not buying it. It looks like they are overheating, like what happens to cell phones on rare occasion (except more frequently).

Pretty sure that vapes were invented to explode at a particular moment and kill millions of annoying millenials.

Population control.

Imagine if you tried to sneak one of those into prison...

Imagine if you tried to sneak one of those into prison...

Or tried to get your girl to do it for you..

Lithium batteries overheat and swell up. The pressure has to go somewhere so they explode.
Some MacBooks have the battery glued in. if you puncture the battery while trying to pry the battery out, same thing happens as in that video.
When you see a story about a Tesla burning, it’s usually because it got in an accident and the batteries got punctured.

Must have shorted our or punctured the lithium battery inside.
Is that really a must?
I bought 2 vaper. One is total shit so I canceled it and never used it again.
The other, a tiny Vape Pen 22 from Smok, seems great. Ive been using on and off for a few weeks, the goal being not smoking cigarretes and soon not vaping either.
Now Im uncomfortable with it.
Shit.

Perhaps it is karma paying them back for spewing out carcinogenic mist/smoke into the paths of innocent people.

Some dude recently blew his dick off cuz of one those things.

Or won the lawsuit recently.

Either way, some dickless dude is walking around a rich man cuz one of those things exploded in his pocket.

1. Don't buy cheap batteries ( I go brand-name on batteries; usually Sony)
2. Don't buy cheap devices (you want regulated mods with safety features; not that mechanical shit)
3. Replace your batteries every 4-6 months.
4. ????
5. Profit by keeping jaw
You think by now, they smartened up. If your battery explodes, it's because of negligence or you're cheap. If you prefer a mechanical mod, make sure never to bring it in a place where alcohol is involved that would increase the stupid in you.

I would rather have my dick.

One of the most common lithium failures occurs while charging. Improper charging can lead them to overheat and burst into flames. Those two gifs posted show failures while the vape pens are in peoples pockets. I'm going to assume those pens were not being charged while in their pockets, but it's not out of the realm of possibilities(power banks with similar lithium cells for recharging devices are common and can also fit in pockets). If however they were not being charged, the battery had to short out in order to burst into flames. A few reasons why that could happen include poor construction, physical damage, improper charging that previously compromised the battery, or maybe modifications performed on the vape pen.

Is that really a must?

I was just saying one of those two things "must" have happened for that end result. A failure like that is always a possibility with a lithium battery but if you do some research, you should find that this is a rare occurrence. Buy good quality cells, charge them properly, don't physically damage them, and you're not likely to have any problems.

That's a vape pen? It looks like a firecracker. How come he had trouble dropping it?

He wasn't holding it, it looked like it was inside his right front pants pocket.
