One of the most beautiful cities in the world. It's an absolute gem. Great city a lot of fun things to do. And good people overall. It's a very diverse city. Good food, one of the best cities in the world imo.

It's fucking amazing, my Brother lives in Seattle and we have family in Vancouver. So whenever I visit Seattle, I make it a trip inside a trip and we visit my cousins up there.

Ah yes, Vancouver. Named after the Aborigines that settled there 8,000-10,000 years ago. These aborigines used to eat "Couvers" a small mammal resembling a Beaver, but without the large teeth. The peoples lived in "Vans" short for caravans, of covered wagons always around a water source that Vancouver is famous for and nicknamed "The Wet Coast". Winters were harsh and they used to burn the oil from the fat of Lion Fish to keep warm. Also nicknamed Lion City. To this day Vancouver has that smell in the air.

Vancouver is more retarded than California in term of lefties policies.

also became a dump in the last decade,
expansive as fuck.

Fuck 'em

No it’s not lol nothing is worse than California

Been there's tons of times.

Even lived there.

Food sucks.

Not much cultural diversity. Either Asian or east Indian or white hippie.

When I lived there 15 years ago, bars closed at 1am. You blink n you missed downtown nightlife.

It is very beautiful, and the weather with lack of snow n salt on roads allows for beautiful cars.

But that's it. East coast > west coast

Would had rated it a 7 but there's Hastings St and the blocks surrounding it. Dragged it down a peg for me. And everytime I go through customs I get reemed, but not in a good way.

I thought this was about Vancouver, Washington.

Everything is extremely expensive and you have to work a lot to make ends meet. Not affordable place to live unless you are super rich and can afford to get a nice place and enjoy the weather in a beautiful back yard.

Nicest people I met in Vancouver are either from the states, Japan, South Korea or small towns in B.C.

Not that people in Vancouver are bad in terms of morality but they are extremely stressed or bitter about something. To be fair, younger people are nicer since they are more hopeful but older folks are very grumpy and angry.

Dafuq are you talking about ?

It’s named for Captain George Vancouver, of the Royal Navy, who charted the Pacific Northwest.

Born and raised here. Parts of it i still love and most of my family is still here. I don’t plan on retiring here though. Much rather sell my house and pack up to the east coast at some point.

Its the most expensive city in North America compared to the average salary in the city. People born in Vancouver have no opportunity. Its a terrible place for young people. If you want to own nothing and be happy Vancouver is a great place.

The homeless mentally ill are increasing more and more. Used to be you would only see that in certain parts of downtown Vancouver but now it’s pretty much everywhere. I saw 4 crackheads tweaking out at a park near my uncle’s house on the west side) the other day.
