Not a fan of his style and his persona, think the showboating wins him a few points here and there in his fights .
After this fight though, I must say I have the utmost respect for him as a warrior. He is the definition of what a warrior and fighter should be. Relentless even after being rocked, out struck, out-grappled in the clinch and basically lost at his own game when the fight went there.
Still, he managed to got toe to toe with Yan untill the very end.
as a Yan fan I hope the rematch does not happen cause I fear he will go in full wrestlefuck mode if it does. I know Yan has the skill to stop him now, but it s always a risky fight. Merab is a machine, he just never stops, and seems to be "unknockoutable".
