We've been waiting a week and a half and still haven't heard much. According to Glaser it did at least 500k and quite comfortably. The first fight did over 1½ million PPV buys worldwide.

Additionally, the event generated $40 million from sponsorships and another $30 million from ticket sales.

A $30 million gate is a lot. To put it into perspective Tank vs Garcia & the Canelo vs GGG trilogy didn't even generate that much revenue in ticket sales for a single event.

and that is just the tickets and sponsors, you also have to factor in the increase in revenue generated by having all those people attend and stay in one of their hotels for some astronomical fee, while people will laugh and just see him throwing money at everyone, there will be a proper business plan behind it all, i doubt they are losing money on these big events at all

They could still lose money. The purse for the fight alone is $191 million.

It might seem a lot but that's still less than the $450 million painting MBS bought on a whim. Understand that the whole budget for such an event is just an impulse buy for those guys. No business plan is needed when only hundreds of millions are involved. That's peanuts.

$30m gate means a sell out with average ticket price of $1000 - I don’t buy that

Well it's the boxing commission that reports the gate revenue & attendance. The British Boxing Board of Control regulated the entire event with the exception of the main event. The latter was governed by the Middle East Professional Boxing commission (MEPB).

Brit events usually clock 1 mill easily

We still don't know the exact PPV numbers yet but Usyk averages over 1 million in the UK alone and against much lower profile opponents than Fury. Fury vs Usyk 1 did 1.5+ million worldwide so it's probably safe to say that the rematch also did over 1 million worldwide.
