Media Usman Said the best joke ever

Usman's ego is hard to watch sometimes.

He has zero chance to beat Canelo Alvarez. Zero.

Usman's chin is not good enough, and his infighting is not good enough.

He would probably lose by third-round KO, in a pure boxing match.

You can't seriously believe Usman thinks he can beat Canelo. Usman just wants to get PAID, and who can blame him.

The funniest thing he ever said was that he's sell more PPVs than Rumble in the Jungle. For those who don't know: Rumble in the Jungle had 50 million PPVs, the UFC record currently sits at 2.4 million.
The PPV model was different back then, people watched it in theaters or "closed circuit tv." That being said you are right about the colossal scale of the fight. At least 50 million people actually watched the event and is to this day one of the most iconic sporting events in history. It's laughable that anyone in the UFC could generate even a fraction of that let alone someone like Usman.

Either Colby or Khamzat will beat Marty.

That is all.

Blah blah blah

Legacy my guy !!

Usman had a great chance to make history and become goat

Imagine a W against

1. Colby II
2. Izzy
3. Khamzat

4.. Canelo

<DCWhoa>

Goat hands down

that would make him bigger than Ali and Tyson combined

I wouldn't even wasted the 20 seconds( give or take) it took to post that.

You'll never get those moments back.

I for one prefer champions stay in their weight class and defend their belts. Only do these champ champ matches when it's something special or make sense. Izzy/Jan was a waste of time.

Usman has business to take care of at 170. That's a stacked division that shouldn't be put on hold. 185 is a different story.
I tend to agree, I just don't like the BS excuses for why they don't happen. Just say you want to stay in your weight class.

It's funny when mma guys are asking to fight the best boxers in the world. It only happened once, cause McGregor was a gigantic star, and pbf was retired (and it's arguable that he was among the best boxers in the world at this point of his career). I get why they are pushing for it, could means millions and millions of dollars, but them getting the call is as probable as Christiano Ronaldo getting it

I think Usman is a good person, but he has been so unlikable since day 1 with his 70% comment

He refuses to say he wants to box Canelo even though that’s clearly what he’s implying and he does it in this weird cadence that’s annoying… then when asked about Izzy he can’t just say he doesn’t want to go up in weight, he says he’ll not fight, but COMPETE for 100 million…

The UFC should stop letting this dude do media, it’s better marketing for him to say nothing

Yeah, he doesn't seem like the worst person in the world, but God, he just sucks at speaking. Lol. Always talking like he's saying something biblical.

Usman being intelligent here… he’s just attaching his name to Canelo for the headlines and clickbait (like this thread). You can tell he knows he’s being cheeky by the smirk on his face.

MMA fighters want to lucky punch their way to immortality.

They know they have puncher chance in striking sports like boxing.

Funny how they don't call out free style wrestlers to wresle haha.

Peasant mindset.

Y im sure it has nothing to do with the compensation

Usman actually has a decent shot to beat Izzy simply because of the grappling difference, he could hold him down and control him for 5 rounds and make it boring and "win" that way, people won't like it but that's a very real possible outcome, like what Jan did to Izzy but for more rounds.

Also you can't blame him for shooting his shot at a boxing megafight like what Conor did, people laughed at Conor before/during/after too but he made enough money that his whole family won't have to work, who wouldn't want that? Usman is also 34 so he knows his prime won't last a whole lot longer, if he doesn't get the big fights in now he'll turn into Woodley 2.0 later when all the younger cats get a step ahead of him.

Canelo in UFC... Why not ? Because it can't be in boxing...

Usman would dominate Israel. Canelo smokes him in less than 2 rounds.
No chance. Israel has much bigger frame and size in general, than anyone he has fought in his career (Vettori will always be harder matchup). He wouldn't be able to hold him down. Also, he is very hittable dude who gets woobled easily even if he gets punched rarely. He would lose swiftly in that one. Scratch that, I don't see him being able to beat Whittaker, Vettori or Cannonier for that matter. Maybe even Costa. His huge size advantage is completely negated in MW. And many of those boys up there wrestle while being better strikers than him.

When you out cringe colby on the mic, that's a sign that you should just hush for your own sake.

What makes it worse, he actually laughs at the shit he just said, and he is the only one laughing...

There is no money in amateur wrestling though.
