True, but he would be a small LHW. He is on the shorter side, his reach is not long and today he seems to be a little lighter than a few years ago.

A normal LHW size-wise, at least, in that pic, IMO. He is indeed smaller now. Reach and height aren't really factors of what constitutes the sizes per division. Though Costa isn't that short. He looked just a bit shorter than Rockhold. Though I think Rockhold might be on flipflops.

I just cannot see Usman winning this unless.... he can drag it into Rd.3 and hope Chimaev gasses out and sneaks a Split decision.

Ranked wins,title defences, making weight, most recent fight. Usman has between Khamzats best win by finish and they were training partners and aware of each others game.

Sure Khamzat might win, but Usman was on his way to dominating Leon before the KO and lost a close decision in his last fight.
If it was a full camp Usman is a huge favourite.

Nah he moved up a weight class to avoid that issue. Khamzat moved up because he was out running around with Darren Till causing havoc before his fights. Both fighters ended up moving to 185.
