Marty was never that good. He should retire now.
I'll admit that I never really rooted for him, as I'm a huge GSP fanboy and was always threatened by Usman'a chance at topping his legacy.
That said - Usman was a great champion. He was an active champion and looked so dominant the past several years until he met Leon again. After GSP, I think he's the clear #2 WW of all time.
I can't really see where he goes from here if he wants to continue fighting. Would he just go back in the mix and fight Belal or Burns again? Hard to picture.
Either way - respect to Usman for doing what he did as champ the past several years. Hope we get more Champs that are as active as he was.
