They all have something in common, they were dominant champs that were winning their fights and got caught in the championship rounds

They are all getting immediate rematches and winning . Getting those belts back baby

Very unlikley that Adesanya gets his belt back.
The only way Izzy gets the belt back is if Pereira accepts the fight while battling surgically irreparable ingrown nails on every toe and a severe flare up of monkey AIDS.

Adesanya can go toe to toe with Pereira ad stand-up (It's not lile if he can't even be in his feet with Pereira) so if he mixes it up with takedowns he is winning. Pereira can be taken down easily and doesn't know what to do once he is on the ground

They're all losing. Usman is done. Valentina may be done. Izzy is still good, but he's not beating Pereira

The only takedown Adesaanya got on Pereira was due to Alex making a mistake and attempting a trip takedown that wasn't there. It was a reversal. That won't be there next time.
It's Alex who scored a true takedown on Adesanya, actually.

But if somehow Adesanya can get him to the ground consistently then yes he can win because Alex has no ground game.

yes, izzy CAN go toe to toe with Alex...however he ends up losing every time when he does this. His only chance to beat Alex is on the ground but Alex of course has worked on his ground skills.

It comes down to Alex being the bigger and stronger fighter. He has too much power and Izzy just can't 'andle da riddum after a while.

You can be dominant,it dont mean you stay dominant forever.

Also the loss of momentum is a hell of a mountain to climb.

The fact that 3 title fights that ended definitely with a finish are being considered insta-rematches is ridiculous and shows how lazy the match making is. IMO Adesanya should be the only one who has a point of rematching, even considering that he’s 0-3 against Pereira.

Will be rooting for him though.
I would say “very”. He was definitely winning until the KO. He also could’ve arguably finished the fight had there been a little more time in that round where Izzy staggered him.

Izzy has gone 0-3 against Pereira across 2 different sports, it's ridiculous they're even doing the rematch

Wish all 3 of them the best, especially Usman... I don't like Israel but am hoping he can return in good form, just wish he wasn't immediately jumping into a rematch against Pereira but oh well, it makes sense

You're one of the kings of crappy threads. You just spit em out. Valentina got caught in a mistake sure, but she wasn't easily winning that fight.

Maybe Izzy. Usman and Shev are getting old and it is showing. Both have lost a step and are on the decline of impressive careers.

Why, Valentina ad Usman were dominant Champs. If anyone deserves a rematch it's them
