Just beat him?! Fuck off ole jinksy....
Lol. I know. Knock on wood. Really though, if you look at the votes that are left to be counted, they are not likely to help Trump in most places. There is a reason Trump was saying "Go with election night!"

Same as WI, MI, and PA. As soon as they realize Trump was trending favorably, they called a dead stop.
Why has California called a dead stop? Why has Kansas? Oklahoma? Florida?

You only know of states that haven't been called to one side when there are plenty of other states that have been called for the President or Biden that still hasn't finished counting yet and hasn't moved from last night.

How is this thing still going

In north korea we would have been done in under an hour

No one listens to Kim Jong Un. He's been trying for years to explain that elections with more than one candidate just get messy.

Of course it's important if you're trying to determine their actual impact.

While it's likely they sacked some cities in some areas, we're talking about cities that have been embroiled in conflict and weakened by disaster for centuries.

It seems much more likely they're the symptom rather than the cause of the collapse.

Roving bands of bandits and pirates trying to survive.

Jesus Christ you're like a punching bag. No! Not "likely they burned some cities".

Its proven by archeological digs.

Stop it.

So Alec Baldwin gets a few more skits where he gets to make fun of Trump for losing and asking for a recount. Then SNL will have to find some new material other than the shit they’ve been churning out for the past 4 years.

That's not what ancient astronaut theorists believe.

Trump really screwed up here. If he had been listening to scientists and selling MAGA masks week one of the pandemic he could've rode this out to re-election.

You're not wrong.

Well, Pete Buttigieg is sharp as a tack, but he is inexperienced and gay.

Elizabeth Warren is one of the smartest people in the Senate, but too liberal and a woman.

Corey Booker was seen as too phony.

Kamala Harris didn't connect with people.

Everyone had problems.

It's not EASY to win an national election. Joe Biden, for all of his flaws, has some really incredible qualities: he's genuine (or seems it), he's completely nonthreatening (which is why none of Trump's attacks worked), he's actually a nice human being-- and that comes across when he speaks, he's non-elitist, he has a shit ton of experience, and he's a photogenic and handsome white male. All of this counts.

And yes, he would have been a better candidate in 2016 than he was in 2020... and he would have been a MUCH better candidate than Hillary was.

So basically everyone was eliminated except the Old White Guy Career Politician Joe Biden.
The others weren't white, or weren't male or weren't straight.

He pacified NK in a big way. I know the left has rewritten history on this but the fact of the matter is, Kim was escalating rhetoric, nuke tests, and rocket launches so rapidly they put one into orbit and it passed over the superbowl during game.

Then Trump talked to Kim and they stopped completely, only to restart some rocket tests.

Trumps foreign policy vastly descelated the situation.

His foreign policy has brought peace to the middle east in a big way.

We can start here.

So NK went right back to its weapons program after feeding Trump a bunch of promises? Only if there was an intelligence agency that told him how NK works.

Trump did not bring peace to anything in the middle east. Yemen was already on reasonable terms with Israel and Trump didn't have much to do with that. Is Iraq still a mess? Does Iran hate us even more? Has he found a solution for the Palestinians? It is like you don't even know what he specifically did in the middle east and just read the headlines.

It's proven cities were damaged in the period, but not by who or what precisely because it was fucking 3000 yrs ago or whatever.

What, people carrying coolers isn't hardcore proof of organized election stealing?

They raise a valid point that the security procedures do seem to be lax, with people walking in with containers that no one is checking. I just don't think it has any legs. Without any proof that a single ballot was smuggled in that way, all you have is "maybe".

It is as if you don't even know what liberal and conservative even mean. Trump hasn't put any policy into place in 4 years. For someone that was going to change the system, little to nothing was put in place.

No shit elections are treated like sports on election day. It is about figuring out who won. The other 364 days a year, everything else is talked about and done.

What policy? Both parties exist to make the wealthy even more money. It is hilarious how many people jumped on the activist fad in order to "fight the power" and put an establishment democrat in charge.

Hedges:
The power of politicians such as Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer or Mitch McConnell comes from being able to funnel corporate money to anointed candidates. In a functioning political system, one not saturated with corporate cash, they would not hold power.

...They looted $4 trillion on a scale unseen since the 2008 bailout overseen by Barack Obama and Biden. They gorged and enriched themselves at our expense, while tossing crumbs out the windows of their private jets, yachts, penthouses and palatial estates to the suffering and despised masses.
