US Department of Labour releases retro Soviet-style Motivational Posters

Its near impossible to find a plumber where I live and none of the technical schools in the area offer it as a course because kids don't want to do it. Graphic design and culinary arts is all they want to do.

CTE isn't being properly funded and promoted and hasn't been for quite some time.
That’s easily explained if you live in a conservative area most Trump supporters believed if they unclogged toilets they would retrieve important documents thst the president flushed down the toilet so they didn’t want to stop and help expose him they were like I’m just going to bake cookies instead look it’s a vid showing documents he flushed ..

Why? Because of AI? Or the lack of people going into trades?
- Because is a dying breed. Same thing here. I assume the entire western world is like this. A good carpenter here makes more in a month than several public workers. Just look at the kids around you. When i was a kid, was comon to creatre our improvised gym equipament and rolimãs:

Also to create tre houses. THeres a shortage of guys in shape to became lifeguards and firefighters also. Even thought theres far more gyms around.

The courses of building things like building houses barely atrack anyone, engeneers or even eletrical work. And the guys atrackted were already on these fields, just didnt had superior education and a degree, also they al around their 30's or more. No young people interested on trades.

- In my school is very Hard to get 15 students to form a presential class on edificies(SP?) Building. The same with eletricists. You can include car stetics also. I've put my name on a waiting list back in 2019, on how to fixe car bodies. Never got a return.

I had to google Brazilian stereotypes to make a good joke so here goes

That’s because you guys are all to busy playing soccer in the rainforest and Samba dancing

The latter.
I thought so. In my country back in the 50s and 60s public high schools used to have a good shop class.

Seniors can get basic automotive courses, now kids will be lucky if they learn enough to get hired as a janitor at McDs.

Instead they pussified the boys so they only teach cooking shit, and sewing but even at that they are bad.

- Change that to every kid wanting to be a influencer and tiktoker. The sedentarism is over the roof tops here.

Why am I not surprised you live in an area where people are too stupid to even become plumbers..

You are either lying or live in some bum duck town

Your undeserved superiority complex never ceases to amuse. Its nationwide, dummy.
Its not a matter of intelligence, you absolute retard. Its work ethic and entitlement. Its lack of promotion. Kids aren't getting into trades the way they did in the 60's, 70's and 80's.

Feel free to educate yourself with the link below, but I'm sure you'll double down with your desperation to appear clever to karate forum bots.

An aging workforce. As more Baby Boomers continue to retire from the trade, fewer young people are entering the trade. In construction, 22% of the workforce is on its way to retirement, and a smaller group of young people are taking their place, according to HBI’s Spring 2021 Construction Labor Market Report.

Finding, hiring and retaining qualified pros continues to affect many trades, including plumbing. In construction, builders report a 55% shortage of plumbers available for work training, according to HBI’s Spring 2021 Construction Labor Market Report......

Greater focus on college education has contributed to the trades’ decline in popularity. High schools emphasize four-year colleges and universities, making them the social standard for post-secondary education. Trade schools didn’t receive the same prioritization and gained the stigma of being a less-attractive path for a career.

Only 7% of Americans would recommend a technical certificate as the highest level of education for their child or close family member, compared to 26% who would feel comfortable recommending a child or close family member pursue up to a bachelor's degree, according to Varying Degrees 2021: New America’s Fifth Annual Survey on Higher Education

Funding plays a role too. After years of declining federal support of career and technical education (CTE), funding for CTE programs have just recently begun to see modest increases, according to The Association for Career and Technical Education. However, because of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, many states cut spending, and their budgets, or supplemental budgets, decreased state CTE funding for fiscal year 2021, according to a 2020 Advance CTE report, which also predicts that this trend will continue and even worsen for many states as they continue to experience economic challenges.

Just don't be so emotional, guy. There's no need to be such a douchebag. I don't know you. You don't know me. No one is impressed by either of us, so calm down.

I will grant you that my state has declined in intellectualism, though. We dropped from 17 to the mid 40's in national ranking on education. The cost of voting blue.

“Emotional”

Accept your whooping like a man. You tried, failed and came off dumb. Move along.

You live in a bum duck town without plumbers and got so mad that you quoted me 3 times in a span of an hour lol

Just stop

You’re the idiot that doesn’t believe in science and stats trying to “educate” me on the plumber shortage using a study made during the fucking pandemic

God dam you’re an idiot
