... Are to some of the all time greats.

Urijah Faber has 10 losses on his pro record

His first loss was in his 9th pro fight. He lost to Tyson Griffin in a Gladiator Challenge title fight. The win moved Griffin to 3-0, but Urijah clearly surpassed him as they both moved on in their careers.

Urijah then won 13 straight fights (5x WEC title defender with 4/5 of those fights being stopped) to enter his first matchup with Mike Brown @ 21-1. He lost to Brown twice.

Since then, Jimmy Rivera is the only non-UFC title holder to beat Faber (UFC 203 - Sept. 2016 - when Urijah was 37) Cruz, Aldo, Edgar & Barao all beat him - no shame in that.

There is no point to this thread other than to show love to the California Kid. He is an all time great who has only lost to the best of the best. Much respect for the legendary performance he put on Saturday night. Show some love, folks!

Urijah “Rasta Mon Dreadlocks” Faber is undefeated with 3 wins by euphoric rhythm

Urjah Faber's wins.... are not very impressive in hindsight in comparison to his losses.

Where surprising, and now misleading, to folks who didn't see him fight in the mid and late 2000's to witness what a dominant badass he was for a while. Nothing last forever, and Faber's fights with Mike Thomas Brown at the end of his reign are legend. He is still in the game and winning.

Edit: Disagree with the above poster! Didn't you read the first post? Douche.

Urijah's extremely well-rounded with great scrambling, and his heart and toughness are very underrated. It's taken some damn good fighters to beat him. War Urijah.

nothing but california love for the california kid
i wish they all could be california girls except men like faber who will be back to win the belt in 2019 and do some californication after winning

One of the best to never win UFC gold. A true pioneer for the manlets.

What ever happened to the girl who used to braid his hair?

She used to post here. Nice set of natty cans too.

Faber was considered so good, people thought Renan Barao was #1 p4p for beating him.

faber is a legend.

he got people interested in fighters below lightweight the way bj got fighters interested in light weight.

Who is henry going to fight that can sell tickets and give the ufc a good ppv or tv ratings besides Faber?

This is why I believe they'll make Cejudo/Faber.

Cejudo/Joe B is dead on arrival for most. Cejudo/Aljo also isn't big. But Cejudo/Faber in Sacramento... that sells itself.

EDIT: Cejudo/Joe B should be next merit-wise, but life isn't about merit.

I don't know about his loses, but he sure as hell has the best butt chin of all time.

"All time great".. yeeah fuck no? Pioneer for midgets.. yes. A cheap, swindling "business man" above all else, with a gym bought with daddy's money? Ask the man yourself. He doesn't see himself as a fighter he's a "business man" or do you know nothing about Uriah? All time great? At what?..at MMA..? Lol. Ok bud. Without the dom choke what is there really? Getting kicked by Aldo and a cool story almost getting killed in Asia somewhere. That encapsulates his entire WEC/ UFC career pretty much. Also, he's sus. Sus af. We don't need a f'ing 40-year-old body and chin deteriorating turned blood thirsty Hulk thread in here. Seriously. He got paid enough money. He doesn't need a thread. He hasn't shitttt in the UFC. Remember the Edgar fight. Most boring uncompetitive fight, ever?

Urijah must have fucked your girl or something.

He's an all-time great and I respect the hell out of what he did, especially in WEC, however there is a severe double standard when it comes to judging Faber's resume against other legends around here.

There's a case to be made that Faber's record against truly top tier competition is 5-10, and that's being generous. Faber's best wins are Cruz I, Assuncao, Mayday McDonald, Bowles, and your pick of over-the-hill Pulver or his various bottom of the top 10 wins (Wineland, Curran, Mizugaki, etc).

I hope this makes people see how ridiculous they sound when they refer to certain fighters as gatekeepers because there are a lot of Faber fans all of the sudden and if you didn't watch him over his career, you could easily label him a gatekeeper just based on his record.

Who was Henry 3 fights ago? Just another uninteresting title challenger for Mighty Mouse? Here's a thought. Have the best fighters fight for the title instead of giving 40 year old men undeserved title shots.

I wish. My bank account. I didn't see it coming until the odds changed. Let me break this down for you. Ricky started in extremely strong position from Vegas. Got even stronger and stronger. Then on fight night I believe a man made a large bet. I believe that man was Dana. Vegas then shifted to holy fuck Uriah is going to win this, someone knew something they didnt and made a monster bet, then Vegas made it a trap fight. I knew I lost that bet before it happened based on the odds. I also didnt know Simon was on my GDR parlay for 20k from last week. That's what shattered my testicles and why I've been sucking my glock like a BBC all day. Pingpong liu whatever the fuck his name is cost me 18 and I didnt even know it. Ladd losing cost me 40. I lost more last night in both my own money and in profit than any other day in 6 years of gambling daily with monster bankrolls 10x this one.

Why? Bookmaker restricted me AGAIN and I can prove it. Good luck winning your first week as a restricted gambler. Good luck with that. Seriously. Let me know how that works out for you. (Like any of you will ever be good enough lmao) Why the fuck do you think I moved to Vegas? This places sucks when you're winning. When you lose I feel like Nic Cage in Leaving Las Vegas I need a ho with a heart of gold and a golden flask.

And whatever girl I dated wouldn't fuck that old sandal wearing midget trust me. (I'm rich too, but this rigged ESPN era gambling plus the bans and restrictions is going to make me cap myself someday soon)
