UNSUCCESSFUL Bangkok shopping trip

Am currently in Bangkok looking for Muay Thai gear and its been a very unsuccessful trip.

I have been to the Twins shop near the old stadium and they had little or no stock of the gloves i was looking for and Actionzone had very little or no gear from Twins special or Fairtex.

I am currently in Bangkok and my Muay Thai shopping trip is not going to plan at all & is a bit of a fuck-up.

Stores that i have checked:
- Actionzone had little to no stock of Fairtex gloves or any kick pads, focus mitts of any brand

- Twins store near the old stadium had limited to no stock and the staff were generally quite rude

- Fairtex there is a store near the airport but its a little far and when i was speaking with the lady at Actionzone she showed me an email from Fairtex with their available stock which was very limited.

- Top king store i might check this afternoon for available options as a last resort

- Boon i had a look and might just get from here but the gloves had white powder on the velcro. Is this some protection or a result of the manufacturing process?

Can anyone familiar with shopping in Bangkok suggest any other ideas to buy gear...

A tip from my bad misfortune for anyone coming to Bangkok in the future so buy gear...
I have experienced that it might be best rto call ahead to Actionzone WEEKS before coming as they regularly do not have any stock and all the gear suppliers stores also seem to have little to no stock.

Boon bro, best gloves, might have to visit the new stadium if action zone is fucked, from comparisons between trips (year gap) prices have doubled.......

Actionzone is the best option ofcoruse for pricing, did you check the shop right beside action zone? they carry twins for less the actionzone, aswell when you leave actionzone walk towards MBK and take the first right to Soi Chula its called and there are a few boxing stores there. They carry twins top king and yokkao. Theres aren't many boxing shops that have the items you want hat you haven't mentioned already. Check out top king, they will have a bunch of stocks at the original location not at lumpinee

I followed directions to the Boon store & The prices had gone up again when I went there. I took screen shots of the new prices which I will load later.
I purchased a pair of 12oz velcro gloves & belly pad & curved kick pads.

Where's the Top King store? Next to where old Lumpinee was still?

Also, what's the name of the shop next to Action Zone?

fairtex is def worth the drive, fairtex have a heap of retail outlets now and you need to email ahead to actionzone to ensure the place the shit you want, an there is the Yokkao gym and boon! just google for directions.

Anyways, don't know you traveling situation but you might have a better chance in phuket.
