Pathetic things a champ has done in the UFC. Worse than khabib holding out for connie, worse than Conor fighting Mayweather.

A heavyweight champ waiting for a 40 year old wwe wrestler who doesn't even train Mma full time anymore

It's what Red Goof and WME turned the sport into. Underpay the fighters so severely that if they get to the top of the chain, all they think about is the money fight. Can't blame anybody that does so.

DC fought a lot lately.

UFC 241 is a good return date,
even if it weren't Vs Brawck.

DC deserve a good payday.

Look at what guys were getting paid on their PRIDE contracts that transferred over the UFC. Except for the championship level, that was big money for the caliber of fighters they were compared to what the same guys are making today. As the PRIDE era guys are washing out of the sport, the amount of money the #2-10 ranked guys seem to be making sucks compared to the PRIDE guys that held those ranks.
 
Any DC fight is better than none, but him versus Stipe 2, JDS, or Ngannou would be a lot more interesting as a fan.
 
DC is also a 40 year old wrestler.
 
Bisping fighting Hendo and then GSP was pretty bad. Probably worse.

But yea, not a great look for DC, although I understand why he's doing it.

You'll get over it. After a career long of fighting all the best and you're trying to call him pathetic cause he wants 1 massive pay day fight at 40? Entitled much? Don't buy it if you don't want to see it, it's pretty simple.

People seem to forget the fight was promised to the winner of the DC x Stipe fight. DC is merely claiming his prize.

DC already got his good payday vs Lewis and the two Jones fight....... IMHO people are overestimating Lesnar if they think he is some Mayweather level draw. The last PPV he headlined did 750k, heck UFC 200 with one of the most stacked cards ever did 1M. Without Conor as co-main my guess is that DC-Lesnar will do 600-700k. Still good but massively embarrassing for Dana.

If DC wants a big card he should beg Dana to pay Jones to fight him at HW. Jones is not a bigger draw than Lesnar but the DC-Jones rivalry is strong enough to guarantee interest.
