Is there any sign of Ngannou fighting for PFL again?

I'm sure they're putting on some decent cards but their biggest name is only there on paper lately

They can't afford to pay him. Are they going to pay out millions of dollars to for him fight another can like Renan? Maybe they can match him up with Nemkov, but that would probably cost them around $12,000,000.

Lol, you would think they'd have considered lifetime cost rather than just the cost of getting him from Dana

In effect they paid him to fight once and retire from MMA

In Francis last interview and the new dude that up near the top of the PFL brass both said on Ariel's show it sounds like they are close with Francis fighting in the PFL in the first half of 2026. That is also when Francis dropped the news that his sunset date in his contract is before the UFC White House show.

Seems obvious they are targeting a match up vs Nemkov.

not sure its Nemkov, yes that would make sense but kind of think the talk about we have something for Francis was them trying to get Rico to sign for a fight.

Now everything is up on the air, Rico was looking at boxing Joshua in Feb/March but with what happened to Joshua thats probably not happening now. So maybe this opens the door for Rico to fight Francis, I know UFC offered Lewis and that didnt happen so who knows.

If Francis is looking to get one more and leave to box then trying to put Nemkov over isnt the worst thing.

The pacing, the fights, the finishes, the commentary, I've enjoyed almost all the cards this year. I especially like their signings, I think PFL is trending towards a positive direction.
