How many people would actually boycott colleges? I'm talking not sending their children to colleges or watching any college sporting event and not buying merchandise from any college.

How many people would boycott colleges? I'm talking about not watching any college sporting event and not sending your children to colleges. If half the people in the country did that colleges would be in bad shape but the question is would the government bail them out?

My first thought after reading was "meh, it's probably hard being non white and gay and thinking the world isn't set up for you"...this is a way for angry people who feel rejected by society to lash out. White people just happen to represent the majority of the power structure in the USA.

This is akin to poor whites blaming illegal Mexicans for stealing jobs to me. It's stupid.

Last, I have a strong feeling these I would last 5 min or less in a room with these people prior to leaving or filling the room with uppercuts.

A bit off-topic, but The Black Panthers helped fund their causes(they actually did some really good things in the community) by publishing a magazine. It had some fantastic artwork. I'd love to have some vintage copies.

I'd describe myself as left-wing (UK not America) and this sort of shit isn't what i recognise as left-wing, it's far too authoritarian even more so than a lot of the far right it seems.

No... no... and no. The world isn't exactly setup for anyone aside from a few select few and not all of them are white. You're right about the angry people part but it is not a correct response on how to lash out. People need to learn how to be adults and to make society better, this does none of that.

A bunch of gay/lesbian kids at a University creating a magazine staffed only by Black and Brown LGBTQ kids does nothing to hurt White privilege. Before Civil rights there were Black only clubs, so did that mean there was no White privilege then?
